The British Chamber of Commerce in China (BritCham) is an independent, membership-based organisation providing connectivity for British Business in China. We are a not-for-profit organisation formally established in 1993 to represent the interests of our members, and provide a network platform for British business in China.
BritCham’s membership consists of a broad spectrum of small, medium and large British businesses and organisations in China, as well as enterprises representing businesses or organisations in China with significant UK-related business interests. Through a series of regular events, networks, and sector-based and horizontal issue-based member forums with a clearly defined remit, members have access to a host of opportunities to express their views, promote their business interests and benefit from the expertise and experience of fellow members and associates. The Chamber brings together the expertise and influence of large multinational corporate members with the dynamism of smaller enterprises and individuals.
Together with our partners, China-Britain Business Council (CBBC), UK Trade & Investment and the CBI, the Chamber provides a comprehensive service for British businesses operating in China. There are five other British Chambers across the region and together we provide services to over 2,000 members. Through this broad network we offer a rich source of accumulated knowledge and contacts, adding value to member businesses in the region.
