Dry Running Vacuum Pumps for Industrial Applications
The vacuum system SIHIdry V-Version has been especially developed for use in industrial applications. It is based upon a dry running twin screw principle, which is without any lubricants, sealants or operating liquids. Wide clearances in the pumping chamber make the pump robust when it comes to the handling of particles and liquids. It is supported by top-down pumping (inlet at the top and the outlet at the lowest point in the pumping chamber) and the pump chamber has been designed to eliminate dead space. Applications: The vacuum system SIHIdry V-Version has been developed for the use in areas without explosion hazard. Sludge Mixers
Vertical single-stage and two-stage MFS mixers with special screw-type impellers and a deflector disk mounted on the shaft. The draft tube acts either as a suction pipe or as a discharge pipe. The shaft is supported in a combined thrust and guide bearing located in the seating ring. The mixer is driven by an motor or an intermediate gear whose pedestal is mounted on the foundation. The draft tube length can be changed to suit the application. Assembly is made easy by the flanged pipe section design. Applications: The mixers are designed to circulate in egg-shaped, conical cylindrical or cylindrical digesters causing an optimum mixing in both directions and a uniform heating of the sludge. The mixers designed for continuous reversible operation. The ability to circulate sludge in either direction for long periods of time fulfils important process requirements.

Composting in rotating drums
Organic waste can also be treated efficiently by aerobic composting in rotating drums. Here the first intensive composting process takes place in a closed, forced aerated and temperature controlled steel drum with an especially developed protection layer against corrosion inside. The process is a dynamic system with the possibility to move the drum in a controlled way with a speed of up to 1 rotation per minute.
Composting in tunnels
The composting of organic waste is a proven and well developed technology. The tunnels are fabricated in concrete in different sizes and are equipped with an aeration floor developed by Ros Roca. The organic material is charged into the tunnels by front-end loader or automatically with conveyors. For aeration each tunnel is equipped with a blower which is blowing air through the aeration floor to ensure an efficient oxygen supply of the microorganisms. For charging or discharging the tunnels they are equipped with doors which are gas-tight to assure that no odour-loaded air can leak during the composting process. Usually the organic material is composted for two weeks in the tunnels. After that the organic material will be finally maturated by windrow composting. The process parameters like temperature, oxygen, carbon dioxide are measured continuously and are used to control the composting process. Odour-loaded air from the composting process is sucked off by ventilators and cleaned by scrubber / biofilter. Cambi Thermal Hydrolysis Sludge Pre-treatment
Technology for Enhanced Anaerobic Digestion of Municipal and Industrial Sludge. Cambiâs Thermal Hydrolysis Process (THP) is a proven and reliable technology that has been used around the world since 1995 in existing and âgreen fieldâ projects to reduce both disposal quantities and the cost of building and operating digesters. Cambi THP is a high-pressure steam pre-treatment for anaerobic digestion of municipal and industrial sludge and bio-waste. Applying THP technology results in doubled digester loading, increased biogas production, and a pathogen-free and stabilized biosolids product with increased cake dewaterability. This saves both transport and energy costs, whether applying the end product directly in agriculture or drying it for fertilizer or bio-fuel. The THP is highly energy-efficient with low operating costs. It also eliminates odour problems associated with the treatment of organic materials. The end product (digestate) â a pathogen free and pasteurized biosolids â can be applied to land directly, composted or dried. Cambi THP plants can be combined with cogeneration plants, which produce green electricity and provide hot steam for the Thermal Hydrolysis Process. However, the biogas can also be cleaned to be used as vehicle fuel or as a replacement of natural gas. Cambiâs scope of delivery varies from the core THP to complete turnkey digestion plants. We also offer plant operations & maintenance. The THP plants normally handles sludge from wastewater treatment plants for populations upwards from 150,000, or from approximately 5,000 metric tons/ year of sludge. Statiflo's Channel Mixers are revolutionising the design and operation of water and waste water treatment plants. 7m wide x 5m deep Inlet Blender Channel MixerStatiflo Series 900 Channel Mixers rapidly achieve a high degree of mix with extremely low headloss in very short lengths. Complete mixing in the channel is possible, achieving a low CoV, over a wide range of flowrates. With headlosses of just a few millimetres feasible, gravity flow is an option, eliminating the expense of pumping, saving not just capital costs, but ongoing maintenance and energy costs too. Statiflo Channel Mixers can be installed in new treatment works or easily retrofitted into existing installations, even when flooded. The modular design concept, based on the STMC mixing elements, allows wide variations in aspect ratio (height/width) suitable for square or nearly square channel sections, narrow deep channels and wide shallow channels. Independent trials have established that the STMC concept is the most efficient of all known commercially available static mixers. 1.5m wide x 5m deep pH control Channel MixerOpen channels can develop unusual velocity profiles not found in conventional piping systems. CENTURION LN200/9-1812 is equipped with a separate diesel engine offering the possibility of utilizing different local fuel taxation regulation. It also makes the machine operate independet of the truck. CENTURION P210/9-1812 this unit is driven by the truck's engine and this gives a compact high capacity machinery with the highest possible load capacity for at truck mounted unit.
