Fully automatic brine generators - low cost brine production
With our fully automated brine generators you can prepare the brine required for carrying out an effective winter service from thawing salt yourself, thereby reducing the costs. Our brine generators are proven in arduous winter service in the course of many years. By virtue of a solution throughput of 2500 to 3000 litres per hour, the ready-to-use brine can be produced in a short time. Solmatic/Soltronic S1 - the high performance brine producer Informations: This fully automated brine generator available in sizes from 35 to 40 cubic metres ca-pacity is designed as upright frame room with entrance door. With thermal insulation and heating facility it provides an ideal place for weather-protected accommodation of the complete scattering equipment and thus permits user friendly operation. By virtue of its capacity, the high performance Solmatic/Soltronic S1 is particularly suit-able for application fields requiring large quantities of brine. Buffer containers with cor-responding capacity can be connected.
Moist salt scattering technique: FS 30
Dry salt is loaded into the scattering material container of the vehicles. NaCl, CaCl2 or MgCl2 brine is contained in liquid tanks attached to the side of the scattering material containers. The salt and the moistening salt solution are separate during transport. The thawing salt and the moistening salt solution are mixed immediately before bringing the material out onto the scattering plate, in the mixing ratio of 70 percent by weight of thawing salt and 30 percent by weight of moistening salt solution. A less common variant (FS 5) also exists apart from the customary moistening salt (FS 30).
Moist salt: Better adhesion, greater scattering widths
Moist salt is obtained by wetting the dry thawing salt with salt solutions (NaCl, CaCl2 , MgCl2 ). This prevents blow-away while it is being scattered onto the road, permits greater scattering width, gives better adhesion than dry salt to roadways covered with hoarfrost and smooth ice, initiates the thawing process more quickly and keeps the roads ice free for a longer time. The quicker action and smaller blow-away losses makes it possible to use smaller quantities of moist salt and at the same time achieve a greater effect. Moist salt scattering has increased greatly during the nineteeneighties outside of municipal areas. Since the beginning of the nineties it is also increasingly applied within municipal areas; it is to become the standard form of scattering thawing agents in Germany.
Road salt
No problem with ice and snow A long walk through the winter landscape deeply covered with snow, a brisk run down the snow white piste or skating on a frozen lake are delights of the season, but the winter has many faces: Ice covered roads, skidding vehicles or persons falling down on slippery paths. Particularly for road traffic, roads free of snow and ice are essential for the safety of all participants. Thereby the thawing salt is of primary importance. The freezing point is lowered by a physical-chemical transformation of ice and snow to water, achieving sustained elimination of slipperiness. Apart from the thawing salt, a matured methodology such as the moist salt technology, optimally matched equipment units, precisely defined task distribution and cautious behaviour of all traffic participants are necessary to ensure safety on our roads even under adverse weather conditions. SĂDSALZ has established itself in the course of the years as a competent winter service partner. High performance ultra-modern plants in our factories, high quality thawing products, a close-mesh network of outpost stores and a competent marketing team ensure rapid availability of the thawing salt. Our logistic partners take care of optimum distribution of the products to our customers â by truck, ship or rail transport. Our range of products: Thawing salt from SĂDSALZ is available as extraction and rock salt in 2.5kg, 4kg, 10kg, 25kg and 50kg packages, loose and with various grain sizes.

Double membrane-gas storage on tanks
Tank covering with integrated gas storage for high pressures and large volumes Outer shell protecting against climatic conditions – spherical or cylindrical is external loads such as wind, snow and climatic conditions. With the help of clamping rails the outer and inner membranes are clamped to the tank in such a way that they are leak-proof and will never tear out. The actual gas storage is located inside and thus protected against atmospheric conditions. The SATTLER DMGS TM in spherical shape enables high pressures and large volumes. The CENO DMGS TM in cylindrical shape (23° and 32°) enables a working pressure of up to 5 mbar and mean storage volumes. Inner shell for gas storage The inner membrane represents the gas-proof covering of the fermenter. The gas chamber is located between the inner membrane and the soil. The pressure within the support air space spreads to the biogas via the inner membrane. The inner membrane floats between the outer membrane and the brace system in different heights depending on the filling level. The pressure in the gas chamber is limited by the overpressure valve.
Gas bags
The pressureless external gas storage for installation in existing buildings Gas bags are the earliest gas storage systems. In most cases gas bags are realised as cylinders or angular cushions. The shape is often determined by the space available. They are mounted in a hanging or horizontal position in existing buildings, rooms or in specially made containers which are for the most part made of steel. In order to measure the filling level, various systems may be used. Normally, gas bags are operated without pressure. Membranes are made of polyester fabrics which are PVC-coated on both sides. Different membrane types are used depending on static requirements, statutory provisions and customer requirements.
SATTLER Double membrane-gas storage - external
The traditional external gas storage for high gas pressures Outer shell providing protection against climatic conditions As in the case of an air hall, air is blown under the outer membrane of the gas storage by a support air blower. Thus, an overpressure is created within the support air space, keeping the form of the outer membrane stable. The ¾ spherical shape allows for high pressures and large volumes on restricted areas. The outer membrane represents the building. It absorbs all external loads such as wind, snow and climatic conditions. The actual gas storage is located inside and is thus protected against atmospheric conditions. Inner shell for the storage of gas Together with the floor membrane, the inner membrane forms the actual gas storage. They encase the gas chamber. The pressure in the support air space spreads to the biogas via the inner membrane. The inner membrane floats between the floor and the external membrane in different heights depending on the filling level. The pressure inside the gas chamber is limited by the overpressure valve. Measuring the filling level The position of the inner membrane is measured by ultrasonic sensors or rope length measuring systems. These measured values can be transformed into filling level values and serve for the plant control. Storage volume The Sattler double membrane gas storage tank (DMGS) is currently available in standard sizes of 50m³ up to 5.360m³ but dimensions are not limited to that range. Storage concepts for substantially larger storage volumes work according to the same principles, but use different geometries. Working pressure The spherical diameter has the greatest influence on the maximum working pressure of the storage. The smaller the diameter, the higher the max. permissible working pressure may be. A common value of the working pressure is approx. 20 mbar. Membrane material Membranes are made of polyester fabrics which are PVC-coated on both sides. Different membrane types are used depending on static requirements, statutory provisions and customer requirements.

Grp liners
Inner film (styrene-proof) is removed after curing Glass fibre roving complex styrene-proof outer film Protective film against UV radiation and damage during insertion
Innovation at SAERTEX multiCom: the SAERTEXÂŽ UV line
We have been working closely with the well-known manufacturer of UV systems for sewer renovation in the field of UV curing for many years. In cooperation with this manufacturer we can now offer our own UV system whose technology has been specially adapted to the SAERTEX-LINERÂŽ. We can offer a number of different UV systems: Fixed installation in 10 ton truck or trailer
Insertion tool for SAERTEX-LINERÂŽ
We offer an insertion tool for the easier insertion of SAERTEX-LINERSÂŽ of larger dimensions, especially above DN 600. The table consists of rollers over which the liner glides drawn by the winch. Adjustable rollers mounted on the sides can be set to the corresponding DN so that the liner is automatically pleated as it glides over the insertion tool. In addition, a correct adjustment of the bow prevents the liner from slipping. A special deflection roller guides the liner into the old pipe in the manhole. No-one has to be in the manhole during insertion. This means that even larger liners can be easily fitted with only 2 - 3 employees. The insertion tool can either be rented for as many days as you need it or purchased directly. If you are interested, please contact Mr. Carpy, Tel.: +49 160 905422568 or email: r.carpy@saertex.com
SAERTEXÂŽ hatprofile of glass fibre
We produce glass fibre hat profiles of high quality and permanently corrosion-resistant Advantex glass. A mat covers the entire inside of the hat that guarantees a smooth surface with good flow properties after curing. The hat profile hem ensures clean and almost edgeless transitions. The manufacture of the glass fibre hats in our own works permits great flexibility in production. The hat profiles are made with a standard 90° or 45° angle or individually to customer specifications. The length of the hat can also be adapted to customer requirements. The glass fibre hats can be installed with all common packer systems (e.g. I.S.T. or ProKasro). The dry hats are supplied sealed in a film. Any commercially available resin can be used to impregnate the hats (e.g. epoxy resin, silicate, water glass). The hat is impregnated in the film. A quantity of resin the same weight as the hat is filled into the film and brought into the glass fibre in a vacuum using press rollers. The hat is fully impregnated when the glass fibre structure is clearly visible and the mat displays no incorrectly impregnated points. We will be pleased to send you one or two samples for your own tests together with detailed instructions for impregnation.
The SAERTEXÂŽ short liner
Short liners have established themselves as an economic and technically mature alternative to traditional damage repair in an open design over the past years for spot repairs in inaccessible drains. The "Spot Repair System" from the firm of I.S.T. GmbH Bochum, suitable for the nominal width ranges DN 100 to DN 500, caters for the individual wishes of specialist processing companies and their employees thanks to its versatility and practical approach. The glass fibre mats from SAERTEX are manufactured solely from corrosion-resistant Advantex glass with two different masses per unit area and in two reel widths for each of these. Each of these consist of a glass fibre mat and a matted glass laminate that are sewn together to a roving. During lamination the glass fibre complex is folded so that the matted glass laminate is on both the outside of the wall of the old pipe (incl. overlapping edge) and the inside, in other words the later visible medium side. Furthermore, it is important to ensure a minimum wall thickness of the installed short liner of 3 mm; 2 to 4-layer short liners are normally used here depending on the glass fibre complex used.
