YSI Incorporated
6-Series Multiparameter Sondes for Sampling and Ground Water Monitoring
YSI 600 sondes are designed for specific applications where a fewer number of parameters is required and size, ease-of-use, and price are of primary concern. All five 600 sondes offer a small and economical package for water quality sampling purposes
6-Series V2 Multiparameter Sondes for Long-term Monitoring
High quality multiparameter instruments for real-time environmental monitoring and extended deployments. Upgraded V2 sondes have additional optical sensor ports to accommodate dissolved oxygen and blue-green algae, as well as features that improve reliability and lengthen deployment periods: anti-fouling wiper control, titanium parts, and redesigned sensor seals. YSI instruments feature field-proven, highly accurate sensing for simultaneous monitoring of a wide range of parameters.
Ground Water
Ground water sampling and monitoring. YSI ground water instruments can be used with flow cells to easily pump water through the cell to provide continuous flow past the probes. This also prevents placing instruments in the well. Solutions for ground water sampling or monitoring include instruments to measure temperature, level, dissolved oxygen, pH, ORP, conductivity and turbidity. Data logging, PC connectivity, and desktop software for data management make your job easier and enables you to be confident in your data.
Storm Water
To keep freshwater sources of drinking water safe, public officials and managers must be prepared for large-scale events such as storms and floods. The sudden influx of swiftly moving water during these events can sweep contaminants into freshwater sources and overwhelm the storage capacity of streams, rivers, lakes, and reservoirs. YSI multiparameter monitoring sondes and SonTek/YSI velocity instruments characterize water quality before, during, and after these events, providing managers with critical data about the health of a water network.
Surface Water
Sampling, monitoring, and logging data in surface water applications, ranging from ponds to rivers to estuaries. Multiparameter sensor instruments provide reliable data for baseline water quality and flow studies. Continuous water quality monitoring keeps you one step ahead of harmful algal blooms, sediment plumes, and low dissolved oxygen events.
Wastewater
Wastewater sampling for process productivity and laboratory testing. Handheld instruments are available for spot sampling dissolved oxygen, pH, and ORP. For laboratory testing of BOD the 5100 provides unmatched ease-of-use and accuracy. The Professional Plus, Pro20 and DO200 handheld instruments quickly become laboratory instruments with a simple change of probes providing for convenient field and lab use. Reliable, unattended DO monitoring is easy with the ROX wiped dissolved oxygen sensor which addresses the challenges of waste water. For biological processes to work efficiently, continuous monitoring of the slightest changes in DO is critical and the ROX sensor is ideal for this application
