Filler robot
Long-lasting rehabilitation with epoxy mortar Two robots are used for the rehabilitation of non-man-entry sewers ranging from 200 mm to 600 mm in diameter: the KA-TE PMO filler robot DN 178/300 and the KA-TE PMO filler robot DN 250/600. The filler robots are used to fill previously ground areas, such as cracks and joints, with epoxy mortar. The epoxy is forwarded to the area of application in an exchangeable cartridge. Compressed air presses the epoxy through the filling nozzle into the previously ground areas which are subsequently smoothed out. Special epoxy mortar is used, which can also be applied underwater. With the optional “KA-TE PMO shield placing mechanism” a perfect renovation of laterals and joints is possible.
Grinding robot
Two robots cover the entire range of non-man-entry sewers with a diameter from 150mm to 800mm: the KA-TE PMO mini-grinding robot DN 150/300 and the KA-TE PMO grinding robot DN 250/600. Both grinding robots are equipped with hydraulic grinding and drive engines and are designed to master the tough conditions in sewers. They are used for the powerful and exact grinding of intruding lateral connections, grinding of deposits, and the opening of lateral connections after lining.
Mini tilting camera
With the KA-TE PMO mini tilting camera, repair work carried out by a KA-TE PMO robot can be monitored even in the smallest dimensions. Similar to the large tilting camera, this model is also equipped with an integrated screen wiper to clean both the lens and the lighting unit.

KLAWA Anlagenbau GmbH
KLAWA Anlagenbau GmbH
Biological cleaning
The heart of a sewage plant is the biological cleaning stage. Here, micro organisms are used to brake down the organic substances in the waste water and inorganic substances are partially oxidised. In the so-called aeration basins, the substances are broken down by artificially adding oxygen and mixing this through the waste water. One tried-and-tested technical device for aeration is the detachable KLAWA aeration element.
Drainage control system
For the last 30 years, measuring and control equipment has been used to avoid hydraulic overloads of the downstream constructions. Not only in sewer systems, but also in the waste water equipment sector. There are a number of options here. One proven system is the drainage control system KLAWA which stands out thanks to its simplicity and the composition of the components used to operate the system.
Final sedimentation
After flowing through the aeration basin, the biologically cleaned waste water enters the final sedimentation together with the activated sludge. There are various basin design options here. The task of the final sedimentation is to separate the activated sludge from the water. Deposited sludge is forwarded to the aeration basins via clearing equipment and sent for treatment and disposal.
Mechanical cleaning
Screening units are the oldest cleaning devices in the waste water technology field. As a result, a large number of different types have been developed and discarded over the years. Even today, developments are still being made. A further technical device for mechanical cleaning are the sand washing plants. The waste water is treated to separate the sand from the inflow and to return it to the recycling system. Organic substances are removed from the water. The washed sand falls into the container and is then returned to the recycling system.
Polishing pools / pool clarification plants
Polishing pools are a special type of naturally aerated waste water pools. These are pools into which bio-chemically full cleaned waste water flows; their task is to this waste water , i.e. filter out more sedimentation. Waste water pools and pool clarification plants are not a new invention. They are actually the oldest form of waste water treatment. A differentiation is made between naturally and technically aerated waste water pools.
Pumping station
The screw conveyor is the pump of a balanced pressure lifting device that raises liquids to a certain height by mean of a rotating screw. Thanks to the installed equipment in the pumping station, the material is sent more or less evenly to the downstream sewage plant. Instead of screw conveyors, waste water pumps with the appropriate pipe systems can also be used.
Rain storage reservoir
Rain storage reservoirs serve to temporarily hold back the rain water that has been directed into the canalisation. It relieves the canalisation system in case of heavy rainfall. Frequently there are problems cleaning the reservoir basin and controlling the drainage. This is where KLAWA’s drainage control system KLAWA “light” and the various rinsing cleaning systems come into their own.
Sludge treatment
Often mechanical devices are used to remove water from the sewage sludge so that it can be recycled or disposed. Solid matter levels of approx. 25 - 30% are achieved here. In the case of biological dewatering, e.g. on reed beds, these levels may even reach up to approx. 60%.
The future of the waste water is clear.
Whilst the drinking water lines and the waste water canalisation were often highly developed even centuries ago, there was no necessity to treat the waste water. The self-cleaning powers of the water was all that was required because the population was smaller then and the waste water was less soiled than today. To relieve nature, compact plants for cleaning and treating the water were developed.

Mobile impact crushers - MOBIREX
The track mounted jaw crushers of the MOBIREX series are used for soft to medium-hard natural stone and for the reprocessing of residual construction materials. What is important today, in addition to the quality of the end product, is environmental and cost awareness, availability and a wide field of application. The MOBIREX machines unite all these requirements. In the process, they guarantee an end product that represents the high demands of concrete and asphalt granulation standards with regard to grain shape, grain distribution and cleanliness.
Mobile jaw crushers - MOBICAT
The track mounted jaw crushers of the MOBICAT series are characterised by their uncompromising design and sturdiness. The outstanding overall performance of the machines results from the harmonious interplay of all components. In this way, MOBICAT machines provide a variety of innovative solutions with regard to efficiency, availability, versatility and, last but not least, the quality of the end product.
Mobile screens - MOBISCREEN
The range of Kleemann tracked screens extends from 7 - 18.4 m² screening area. Built either as a double or triple-deck screen with or without feed hopper, as a banana screen, with finger screening surface, with rubberised perforated panels, etc. the screens are suitable for use wherever high outputs are required and where difficult to screen material has to be separated. The screens are all diesel-electric driven and are particularly suitable for combined operation with an upstream Kleemann crusher. The performance range for mobile screens nowadays extends to 1,000 t/h depending on the type and composition of the feed material and the grading ranges to be screened.
Mobile secondary crushers– MOBICONE and MOBIFOX
When stationary becomes mobility. Stationary processing plants are increasingly being replaced by mobile machines. In order to ensure the customary quality for concrete or asphalt grading Kleemann has developed special secondary crusher units which work, electrically interlocked, together with other machines such as primary crushers and screens. Secondary impact crushers and gyratory crushers are used which, depending on the process requirements, are operated with or without fitted screens. Depending on the application, MOBICONE and MOBIFOX secondary crushers can be used as secondary or tertiary crushers. Even complicated processing sequences can be solved nowadays with several machines connected in series.
Stationary processing plant - natural stone
The processing of natural stone, whether hard, medium-hard or soft, abrasive or non-abrasive, has a long tradition at Kleemann. The planning & design and realisation of the processing plant take place according to the customer's individual wishes under the aspect of optimum economic efficiency and high-quality end product. The process machines such as the pre-separator, classifiers, the components which form the heart of a processing plant, which have a decisive influence on the product quality, are produced in-house by Kleemann. The crusher technology such as the double toggle jaw crusher for primary size reduction of hard and abrasive rocks single toggle jaw crusher for medium-hard to hard feed materials special impact crushers for pre-crushing limestone and recycled materials hard rock impact crushers for secondary and tertiary crushing applications sand impact crushers stone chippings crusher with special type of construction for individual recrushing are core elements in the Kleemann product range. KMA AAIRMAXX ESP – tubular electrofilter for the separation of dust and smoke
Excellent cleaning efficiency: With the AAIRMAXX technique it is possible to separate coarse and finer fractions of solid and liquid materials from the air. Low power consumption: Due to the wide open structure, the backpressure of the filter unit is very low. The resulting decrease in neccesary fan power means savings in operating costs. Furthermore, the high cleaning efficiency of the tubular electrofilter technique also allows the back flow of the clean air in the working place. The building temperature regulation costs are this way reduced! Minor need of maintenance - automatic filter cleaning system: The filter unit is wide-bodied and has no moving parts. This makes it easy to remove the dust from the collecting walls and thus to maintain the unit. At the same time, the filter procedure includes more than one tested filter cleaning methods: dust and smoke depositions can be removed, if desired, by means of vibrations or by an integrated hot water pressure washing unit. The filter units are completely made of normal or stainless steel - it is not necessary to regularly change the different components and the filter maintenance costs are thus reduced compared to other filtering separators

Krauss-Maffei Crossflow Filter DCF
Crossflow methods for separating substances with poor filtration properties are state of the art. In applications with solvents, wearing substances etc. the use of ceramic filter membranes is gaining popularity. With the classic crossflow filtration the feed flows over the filter membrane in such a way that no clogging layer can develop on the membranes. KMPT has further developed the process of Dynamic Crossflow Filtration. In this process rotating ceramic or polymere discs generate a turbulent differential speed of the feed. This effectively prevents the development of clogging layers which obstruct the filtration. Energy savings of up to 80 % are the key benefits of this new method. The possibility of processing a higher concentration of the retentate to viscosities of 700 mPas opens up new fields of application. The user therefore benefits from technical solutions for his specific problems as well as a process which offers better economic efficiency. Operating principle: Dynamic Crossflow Filtration, rotating filter discs Method: continuous Material: stainless steel, nickel based alloys, ceramics Viscosities: up to 700mPas Filter area test equipment: 0,14m² Filter area production units: up to 10 m² per module Filtration throughput: 1-2500 l/h Pore size of membrane: 7nm to 2¾m Primary fields of application: Extracting solids with high up-concentration requirements Separating biomass, e.g. when extracting enzymes, proteins, polysaccharides or antibiotics Recovering of materilas (hydroxides, colloids) Concentration of suspensions Treatment of liquids Harvesting of Algae

DI RECIRCULATION SYSTEMS
Recirculation DI (deionization) systems are used for complete demineralization of water. Conductance can be reduced to < 10 ÂľS/cm. In surface engineering, this water is used to realize high-grade rinsing and spotless drying. Desalination is realized in a cation and anion exchanger. Cations are positively charged ions such as sodium and metals. Anions are negatively charged ions such as chloride, sulphate, fluoride and nitrate. To protect the ion-exchange resins from organic components, an active charcoal filter is installed upstream from the resins. Regeneration of the system is done automatically by backwashing the activated charcoal. The anionic resins are regenerated with lye, the cationic resins with acid. The regenerated materials must then either be put through a wastewater treatment plant or disposed of by a specialist operation.
Membrane process equipment
Membrane process equipment is projected and built according to customer specifications and the volume and composition of the water. Optimized solutions are achieved with custom systems or combinations with other processes. Examples of applications: (additional sizes on request) MF 150:Microfiltration for continuous removal of oils from a degreasing bath. Throughput volume 150 l/h UF 60: Ultrafiltration for removal of hydrocarbons that have also been vaporized from the distillate of an evaporator system
REVERSE OSMOSIS
Desalination plants using the reverse osmosis process are used to desalinate drinking water in accordance with the German Drinking Water Ordinance. As a rule, the systems are supplied as compact units comprising a softening and a desalination unit. The softening unit removes hardness constituents. Regeneration is realized automatically by means of a saline solution. In two-way operation of the softening unit, a second resin continues to decalcify water while the first resin is regenerating. In the system for one-way operation, no more fresh water is introduced during regeneration. The residual hardness is automatically monitored. Reverse osmosis desalinates the softened drinking water by retaining salts in one module. This salt solution can be discharged into the sewer as regenerated material. The permeate, with conductance of < 15 ÂľS, can be used as high-grade fully demineralized water. A further reduction of conductance is possible by means of a combination with a mixed-bed resin.

Indicators, Hazardous Area
The 830 X loop-powered digital indicators are universally applicable. The range (either 0 - 20 mA or 4 - 20 mA) is simply selected via terminals. Display starts working at an operating current of only 0.3 mA. The low voltage drop of 0.5 V allows application in current loops with low load voltage. Bargraph for quick range overview The digital indicators provide a bargraph in addition to the digital display. This gives you all information on your process variable at a single glance. Versatile setting capabilities Zero, span, and min/max outputs can be adjusted as desired, enabling direct readout of measured values such as temperature, power, displacement, pH value etc. The indicator comes with a symbol set for standard engineering units. The symbols can easily be replaced. Thanks to microprocessor technology, you do not require a high-precision external reference current for parameter setting. Even during operation, the settings can be changed without problems. Loop-powered. Your advantage. The digital indicators are simply inserted into the current loop like passive analog indicators. Since power supplies and their wiring are not required, costs could decisively be reduced, allowing for displays which have been too expensive before. Applications in hazardous locations become easier and less expensive since the costs for intrinsically safe power supplies and wirings can be saved. In addition, the reliability has considerably been improved since a power failure in the control room does not interrupt the data flow. And, in contrast to conventional digital indicators, there is no coupling between measuring loop and power supply. Construction The product line includes indicators in modular cases as well as large and small cases for installation in equipment and control panels. The cases are sealed to IP 65. Floating min/max outputs on request The two optionally available min/max outputs with IS/IS separation can be set as normally closed or normally open contacts. Limit values, hysteresis and switch-on delay can be set as desired. EMC to NAMUR[HOCHSTERN] EMC design ensures reliable measurements even under unfavorable ambient conditions. HART communication The indicators transmit HART signals disturbance-free. Measured value display is not affected. UnicalÂŽ 9000
Combined with the ProtosÂŽ process analysis system and a SensoGateÂŽ or CeramatÂŽ sensor lock-gate, the UnicalÂŽ provides the ideal functionallity of a complete system for automatic control of a pH measurement. It allows highly accurate measurements to be taken even under difficult process conditions such as high pressure, high temperatures, and high levels of impurities. The system can be installed next to the process, within the hazardous area. Maximum availability of the point of measurement: calibrations without disrupting the process, even when measuring directly in the pressure tank. Since the electrode is not dismounted for calibration, the process can continue uninterrupted. This allows problem-free measurements in a pressure tank or in the main pipe. Elaborate and lockable bypasses are eliminated and accuracy increases. Low maintenance Fully automatic electrode calibration in user-defined intervals without interrupting the process. Two buffer solutions are automatically pumped into the calibration chamber. Only the buffer bottles need to be refilled. Cost-efficient Low-wear and low-maintenance pump with extremely low consumption of buffer. Long sensor life also in critical processes When measuring in aggressive media or at high process temperatures, the electrode rests in the calibration chamber and is only briefly moved into the process for measurement. This method decisively increases the sensor life. Safe and easy measurement even in strongly polluted media Sensor cleaning and rinsing is performed in user-defined intervals. Cleaning solution and water are automatically pumped into the calibration chamber. Dismounting and manual cleaning of the sensor are omitted. Distinction between calibration and adjustment This allows you to check the electrode data in the running process. An adjustment is only carried out when there are preset deviations of the calibration values. Constant displacement of the measured values due to small calibration scatters is omitted. Modern fieldbus integration The interfaces to PROFIBUS PA or Foundation Fieldbus allow the UnicalÂŽ system to be integrated directly in a fieldbus network. Of course, also in hazardous locations. Universal adaptation to retractable fittings The modular structure of the UnicalÂŽ allows any retractable fitting to be used. Optimum functionality is achieved with the CeramatÂŽ and SensoGateÂŽ sensor lock-gates. Clear and safe construction All features for a smooth, safe, and low-maintenance operation are provided as standard: water pressure gauge and service switch with alert message and check-back signal for the actual lock-gate position, air filter and water trap, flooding sensor in the housing with alert message.
