Each layer is thoroughly impregnated with an elastomeric compound containing mold and mildew inhibiting agents and is impervious to oil and most chemicals. Designed for long service life in impact or vibration applications, FabreekaÂŽ pads have great strength, up to 12,000 psi, and exceptionally high damping. FabreekaŽ Precision-Aire⢠PAL Pneumatic Isolators
The FabreekaŽ Precision-Aire⢠Leveling PAL series pneumatic vibration isolation system uses servo controlled air springs. The isolators are ideally suited for conditions where height control and vibration control must co-exist. The standard line of PAL isolators has natural frequencies of 2.7 Hz and 1.5 Hz vertically; however, natural frequencies as low as 0.5 Hz can be obtained from custom systems. The natural frequency and isolation efficiency of the PAL isolators remain constant throughout their load range. The PAL isolators are supplied with a control panel, automatic height control valves, tubing and all other pneumatic accessories necessary for complete system installation.
INFAB⢠Foundation Isolation
In some applications, it is not feasible to mount a machine directly on vibration isolators. An integral part of most machine tool installations is a properly designed foundation which will meet the machine's support requirements. Isolating a vibration-sensitive or vibration-producing machine requires isolation of its support mass or foundation. INFAB⢠elastomeric (rubber) isolators provide low frequency isolation from induced shock and vibration for applications requiring support foundations and inertia blocks. INFAB⢠isolation systems can be designed to have a natural frequency as low as 6.0 Hz. A vibration site survey/analysis will determine the levels of vibration existing at your site, which is essential for proper vibration control recommendations to be made. Gas Flow Meters and Coriolis Mass Flow Meters
FCI designs, manufactures and sells a broad line of air, gas and liquid mass flow meters utilizing both thermal dispersion and Coriolis flow measurement technologies. Thermal dispersion technology utilizes the relationship between flow rate and cooling effect for direct measurement of mass flow. With no moving parts and minimal invasiveness, thermal dispersion is ideal and widely applied in air and gas applications, and provides a highly repeatable and accurate measurement. Level Switches
Level Switches and Fluid Level Switches for Industrial Process Measurement and Automation FCI liquid level/interface switches feature thermal dispersion technology in which the temperature difference between the two RTDs is greatest in the absence of liquid and decreases when the level element is submerged, cooling the heated RTD. Basket screen
The FSM basket screen for installation in flumes and shafts is based on the design of our course bar screen with grab mechanism. The basket screen is raised and lowered in the shaft via an electric drive. The basket is guided by two guide rails and rollers and is thus prevented from slewing. The guides are curved in the area above the channel so that the basket can be conveyed over a container where it partly empties itself automatically.When the screen basket is raised out of the shaft, a drop screen travels down automatically and blocks off the inlet feed with a coarse screen. When the basket is lowered, the drop screen opens the inlet completely.The drive is mounted on bracket on the machine frame and consists of a motor and wire rope drum. The hoist is provided with limit switches for the motor at the end positions of the basket.
Compact screening
The waste water flows through perforated filter elements made of stainless steel, while contaminants are held back. Solid matter is picked up directly at the bottom of the channel, a base step being incorporated in the container. The filter elements form a continuous filter belt which is cleaned by a brush at the upper deflection point. The cleaning process is assisted by a series of jets working in proportion to the screenings load. Tines located on every 5th screening element prevent build-up of rolling matter in front of the screen and ensure that large matter is removed. The sheet steel side plates of the filter elements slide on plastic rails on the screen frame, thus forming a seal and preventing screenings from being washed past the screen at the sides. As a result of the half-round shape of the filter elements and the arrangement of the cleaning brush at the upper deflection point, the distance between the brush and the filter element remains constant. This constant distance ensures very effective cleaning combined with low wear of the brush. At the turning points of the chain drive, the filter elements are in contact with one another via their sealing areas. The gap between the elements thus remains constant and small at all times during the rotation cycle, including at the upper and lower deflection points. Official, independent tests have shown that FSM screens with a hole size of 6 mm approx. filter out double the amount of screenings as a stage screens with 6 mm gap size. The screenings retention figure of an FSM screen with 6 mm holes is of the order of 76%. The efficiency of FSM filterscreens prevents build-up of screenings and clogging up in the clarification plant and thus avoids time-consuming and costly measures to deal with these disturbances. The screenings which are brushed off the filter elements drop into the screening washing press which is incorporated into the container. The screenings are conveyed within the wash compactor from the inlet zone to the washing zone. In the washing zone, service water is added and organic matter washed out. The wash water, which is rich in carbon, is released to the flume. The conveyor screw delivers the washed screenings to the pressing zone. The screenings are discharged via a discharge pipe to a container or conveyor. As a septage receiving station, the machine can be directly charged from a suction vehicle. Magnetic cards or key switches can be used to reference the delivery to the appropriate supplier and to record quantities. The septage reception station can be extended to include a grit channel to deal with material containing large quantities of grit. This ensures that additional sand does not find its way into the sewage plant. The compact screen unit can be retrofitted to existing compact installations.

The FSM grit separator is used to separate solids from water. The unit can be charged via air jet lift, pump or free flow. The FSM grit separator consists of a separating container and a screw conveyor. Application areas range from municipal sewage plant to separation of sediment and heavy materials in production and process waste water in the chemical, food, paper and waste disposal industries. Inflow of the grit/water mixture can be either under pressure or via gravity line. The tangential feed induces a rotary movement in the water which causes the heavier substances such as sand to sink to the apex of the funnel, where they are removed and dewatered via the screw conveyor. The grit is thus rendered substantially free of organic matter. The FSM grit separator effects a continual separation of the grit from the waste water flow while reducing the organic portion of the solids and dewatering the grit.
Multi rake bar screen
The waste water flows through bars made of stainless steel, while contaminants are held back. Solid matter is picked up directly at the bottom of the channel without the need for a base step. The cleaning elements are fixed between two chains and are designed with teeth for the best cleaning of the screen. The screenings can be discharged into containers, wash compactors, screw conveyors, conveyor belts etc. Sealing at the sides prevents solids from circumventing the filter. The cleaning elements and teeth can be individually and quickly exchanged
Screening washing press
The FSM screening washing press is available in 3 sizes with screw diameters of 200, 300 and 350 mm. It is used to dewater, compact and convey screenings or other damp/wet waste materials. Waste materials from a screening unit, screw conveyor or conveyor belt are dropped into the filling hopper. The worm screw conveys, dewaters and compacts the waste material. The water escaping from the compacted material is released to the flume. With the help of the built-in washing device, fecal matter is subjected to a wash-board friction operation, loosened and washed out. Hair, fibers etc. which could cause operating failures and build-ups remains in the screenings. Service water can be used as wash water. The screening washing press is able to deal with a sudden change in load better than a conventional worm screening washing press. The screening washing press is a sturdy steel constuction. The worm screw blades are made of wear resistant material and welded to the screw shaft. If the installation is used outdoors, the discharge pipe can be provided with heating. In order to increase the dry solid matter content, the screening washing press can be equipped with an additional dewatering unit. Here the back pressure is generated by an adjustable hydraulic cylinder which communicates with the drive motor and thus regulates the solid matter content. The screenings are discharged via a discharge pipe to a container or conveyor. The FSM screening washing press can be furnished with a shredding unit, which is located at the end of the discharge pipe. The resulting size reduction of the compacted and dewatered screenings provides three advantages: 1. The reduced size screenings dry out better in a container than in a compacted ball. 2. The reduced size screenings spread out more easily in the container. 3. The reduced size screenings utilize the volume of the container better and enable a higher filling ratio to be achieved
Skimmer
Floating sludge is gathered by a screw conveyor and delivered to a collection container. Here the floating sludge is collected, concentrated and pumped out at intervals. The total system is designed to accommodate variations in the water level of up to 200 mm without difficulty. The entire system is not affected by wind, currents and external influences.
