HAASE Energietechnik ist specialist in environmental engineering and plant construction with focus on Mechanical-Biological Treatment of municipal waste (MBT), biogas enigneering, landfill engineering (landfill gas, leachate) and energy systems. Our international activities in the HAASE group are supported by HAASE Energietechnik AG and HAASE Anlagenbau AG Projects & Co. KG. In 1981, HAASE Energietechnik was established in Neumünster, Germany, where headquarters and production facilities are still located today. In Germany, HAASE also operates a number of plants on the basis of O&M schemes. Local partners represent us abroad.
Biogas Engineering- Mechanical-Biological Waste Treatment (MBT) HAASE is specialized in biogas engineering and Mechanical-Biological Treatment of municipal waste, often referred to as MBT, or BMWT plants, or MBP facilities. MBT engineering is the key business of HAASE Anlagenbau GmbH Projects & Co. KG. The focus of engineering made by HAASE is on fermentation, completed by energy recovery from biogas, treatment of process water, and treatment of waste air from BMT plants. HAASE offers standardised components for: Anaerobic Digestion Digestors, fully equipped with mixers, hydrolysis, etc. Biogas-to-Energy Cogeneration units (CHP) Biogas flares Booster units Biogas Cooling System Treatment of process water from MBT plants Membrane systems Biological treatment + Adsorption on activated carbon Treatment of process air from MBT plants HAASE VocsiBox® (RTO-facility) Biogas cooling system Innovative biogas cooler saves 30 % of energy
Cogeneration Plants for LFG, Biogas, Natural Gas HAASE cogeneration plants (CHP plants) generate electricity and heat from from alternative sources of energy - i.e. biogas, landfill gas, sludge gas - or from natural gas. In Germany and abroad, we have many clients among landfill operators, electric utility companies, industrial enterprises, residential parks, and industrial parks. HAASE supplies: Containerized CHP units Mobile, flexible, immediately operative. No operation building required. Stationary CHP units CHP modules for indoor installation. Compact CHP plants Compact energy centres for biogas utilization, fully equipped with booster, emergency flare stack, and control unit. All the equipment is fitted into one standard container, ready for delivery and connection on site. Capacity: 150 to 350 m3/h. With a methane concentration of about 40 to 65 per cent, landfill gas, biogas, and sludge gas may be considered high-energy fuels. Their concentration of noxious trace elements and CO2, however, has a considerable impact on the environment and contributes to the greenhouse effect. In order to prevent pollutants from escaping into the atmosphere, a thermal treatment is obligatory on modern landfill sites. HAASE cogeneration plants use this gas to fuel gas engines. Electricity generated by such facilities either supports the decentralized energy supply on site, or it is supplied to the public grid, offering an additional source of income to plant operators. Waste heat from engine cooling water and waste gas may be used for environment-friendly heating purposes or for the generation of process heat. This type of energy is not only required by industrial sites, sewage treatment plants, and biogas plants (reactor heating), but it is also especially suited to heat residential parks, greeneries, operation buildings, hospitals, and swimming pools
Landfill Engineering With the first gas extraction system implemented in 1986 on the Neumünster landfill site, HAASE Energietechnik pioneered this technology. Since that time, we continuously develop, install and operate complex extraction and supply systems for landfill gas and landfill leachate, including pipework, gas purification, etc. Our experts in the Civil Engineering Department also take care of existing gas extraction facilities and get them working again. They are specialised in examining, optimizing and modernizing old systems, in Germany and abroad. Beside the implementation of new systems, this has actually become our key activity. (see article about the Sudokwon landfill site) Components such as wellhead shafts, gas collection systems, and extraction facilities are all manufactured by HAASE. They are equipped with a system we have specially developed to eliminate water plugs from the gas transmission system (pressure-controlled drainage of gas pipelines).
Landfill gas (LFG), biogas, sludge gas, MBP process air Gas engineering for contaminated gas Gas treatment facilities made by HAASE Energietechnik are designed to eliminate and safely dispose of harmful substances contained in landfill gas, biogas, waste gas, and contaminated process air. Methane (CH4) is a gas that considerably contributes to the greenhouse effect. Toxic trace components also have a heavy impact on the environment. It is therefore essential to stop them from escaping into the atmosphere. HAASE gas treatment facilities are a safe solution for this problem. They actively contribute to keeping our air clean and help to minimize the greenhouse effect. Engineering and products supplied by HAASE Energietechnik include Booster units for landfill gas, biogas, sludge gas High-temperature combustion facilities i.e. flare stacks for thermal treatment of landfill gas, biogas, sludge gas, and contaminated process air, conform to TA Luft standards and UK Guidelines (if required) VocsiBox® RTO-facility for the disposal of low calorific value gas according to both TA Luft standards and German guidelines for the treatment of MBP process air Gas cooling system Innovative gas cooler saves 30 % of energy
| Landfill Leachate, Process Water Water Treamtent The treatment of contaminated wastewaters, e.g. landfill leachate, is the core of our business. We benefit from many years of experience and innovation in plant engineering and plant operation and this helps us create optimized solutions for our customers’ requirements. In water treatment, HAASE Energietechnik successfully uses membrane systems and biological processes with adsorption on activated carbon. We offer treatment processes for: Landfill leachate Excess water from biomechanical waste treatment plants and biogas plants Industrial wastewater Process water HAASE water treatment units are designed to produce effluent qualities that meet the requirements of any official guideline or directive for the direct discharge of the treated wastewater into rivers and lakes. HAASE also has mobile rental units available for water treatment. | |
