We think about new solutions In direct and permanent dialogue with the client, our sales specialists examine problems concerning e.g. infeed material or intended use of the final product. Alternative solutions with peripheral plant components are discussed to evaluate future demands and aims. Solutions and specific requirements are designed on our CAD systems. Analysis and testing of client’s raw materials take place in Maier’s own laboratory before final manufacturing decisions are taken.

History The B. Maier Zerkleinerungstechnik GmbH was founded 1932 and the workshops were taken over as part of the renowned Maschinenfabrik K. & Th. Möller. The manufacture of water turbines and hydraulic steel structures as well as steam engines made the company a worldwide approved supplier of machines of highest quality. Innovative thinking and acting are of main importance from the very beginning. The lead in the production range of reduction technique was consequently extended and further developed. Whether an individual machine, a plant component or a complete plant is concerned - competence and efficiency must prove every day. Also with regard to service. Even an absentee diagnosis allows possible faults to be eliminated in a mimum of time. As the technical and economic conditions are constantly changing, the Maier system can easily be updated to the most modern level of technique by integrating the necessary original, spare and substitute components. Quality certification for wood processing On 07.03.97 Maier has been certified according to the European Standard DIN EN ISO 9001 and all necessary demands for the quality management have been fixed. The examination refers to each single department of the company - a precise and complete documentation of all relevant requirements in the field of administration, distribution, development, design, production, installation and service. All internal processing and working directives are fixed in their procedure. The working team identifies with the high certification demand, and this is the guarantee for a constantly high quality level of our machines and plants.
