For more than 20 years, MeWa has been developing and building shredding machines and recycling plants for the recycling of all kinds of waste materials
For more than 20 years, MeWa has been developing and building shredding machines and recycling plants for the recycling of all kinds of waste materials. During this time, pioneering work has been done for the recycling industry which considerably influences the development of machines and process technologies. New directions in technology have been taken concerning the opening-up of composite materials. Today, our range goes from individual machines to complete process solutions.
| Cutting mills Cutting mills grind the input through shear action with the help of rotary and stator blades. The material is transferred to the grinding area through an opening shaft. Here it is ground between the blades on the rotary and the stator blades until the granule falls through the holes of the sieve insert, which is attached under the grinding area. There is a collection trough under the sieve where the granules are aspirated pneumatically or transferred with an extraction screw. There are sieves with various hole diameters available, corresponding to the desired grain size.

| E-Scrap The heart and soul of our WEEE recycling system is the UNI-CUTÂŽ QZ Universal Querstromzerspaner.
The procedure utilised achieves unrivalled results in regard to environmental impacts, recycling quotas and profitability. Average intakes of up to 15 t/h are attainable. The system was developed on the basis of the EU directive (WEEE) and exceeds all mandated standards and criteria.
Having installed 50 recycling systems worldwide, MeWa is the leading provider of technology in the electronic scrap-processing sector

| Granulator Powerful and flexible
The UG crushes and granulates down to a predetermined output grain size of between 5 and 100 mm, and can handle the following input:
Domestic, industrial and bulky refuse
Electric/electronic scrap iron, electric engines up to 1.3 kg and transformers up to 3 kg
Old tyres from cars and commercial vehicles
Aluminium shavings, cast parts and metallic profiles
Cable scrap, oil filters, steel and plastic drums and other plastics
Data, files, paper, pulp.
Depending on the feed material, pre-shredding may be necessary, which our rotary shear will reliably manage.

| Hammer Mill The waste material is ground through kinetic energy. Two rotors, with a specific number of movable hammers attached to the outside, turn in a metal housing. Upon entering the range of the rotors, the material to be crushed is hit by the rotating hammers. A maximum crushing effect is produced by the hammer blows. The hammers sling the material against the crushing wall, where it is smashed to pieces by the collision. The material is then crushed further in the lower area between the rotors and the crushing wall. The material remains in the crushing area until it is totally crushed and then passes through the exterior mesh of the machine. The function of this sieve is to catch the larger grains; larger sizes can be attained by changing the sieve.

| Refrigerator-Recycling Cool inset for environmental protection
Through investigative development work, the MeWa cooling recycling system defines a new brand of technology with regard to effectiveness and profitability.
Our Querstromzerspaner QZ is characterised by its process recovery of nearly 100% of the FCKW or pentane found in old cooling systems. The results achieved exceed the mandated standards set in the EU, and contribute to the protection of the ozone layer.

| Rotary Shear Tried and tested 1,000 times
The UC copes with the pre-shredding of bulky, large-volume refuse, such as
Domestic, industrial and bulky refuse
Tyres from cars, lorries and even construction machinery
Steel and plastic drums
DSD material, sheets and paper
Pulp, textiles, rugs and floor coverings, shredded remnants
Car filters, oil filters. |
| The Smash Boom Bang The Smash Boom Bang is a highly economical and compact pre-crushing machine. SB² gently crushes electric and electronic waste using innovative technology.
|
| Tyre Recycling plants First worn out, then processed
Whether from cars, lorries or light construction machine tyres - our tyre recycling systems will process them all - without any manual pre-processing. The concept involves pre-shattering, fine granulation and flexible separating techniques.
