	C-MEM C-MEM relates to the special application of organic fibres for ultra- and micro filtration of water and wastewater treatment. The basic principle of this filtration is that porous organic hollow fibre membranes with micro pores are used as basic filtration media. The outside diameters of the fibres are less than 1 mm (depending on application). In order to obtain sufficient surface area and to allow constant fluxes several hundred of parallel fibres are combined to bundles and are wound up around a carrier cartridge. The carrier cartridge has a suction connection for filtered water and a pressure air connection for air scour, which allows to clean the fibres from outside simultaneously to normal operation. Typically, transmembrane pressures are 200 - 500 mbar for normal operation and maintenance of fluxes from 10-60L/m2.h (depending on raw water or wastewater). Advantages of the technology: C - MEM fibres are protected on carrier cartridges and are not subject to mechanical destruction The C - MEM module significantly reduces footprint and space requirements of the overall application C - MEM filters have pore sizes of 0.1-0.6 micron to remove bacteria and virus as well. C - MEM does remove bacteria and virus up to a degree of 4-7 log removal ( 10,000 to 10 mio-times reduction), independent of type or life form of organism. C - MEM does not produce disinfection by-products or bad odours. The C - MEM operation simplifies the day to day operation of the plant as filtration and bacteria/virus removal are safely carried out in one process with the same equipment. The filtration membrane modules themselves have a high life expectation (5 years depending on operation) and are subject to cheep and easy replacement if required

	waste water Our special technologies applied in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment and recycling are as follows: C-TECH Cyclic activated sludge treatment for biological wastewater treatment in municipalities and industries C-MEM Micro- / ultra-filtration for direct filtration of wastewater or as an MBR (membrane bioreactor) in combination with biological treatment. C-FIX A cyclic moving bed biofilm reactor based on porous foam cuboids for the biological treatment of industrial and municipal wastewaters, especially for high rate nitrogen removal. C-FLOC A contact flocculation technology for pre- and post-treatment of industrial and municipal wastewaters, but also for potable water reclamation. PSF Primary sludge fermentation for enriching substrate lacking wastewaters with easily degradable substrates for high rate nitrogen and phosphor removal Waste Water Recycling C-RO Reverse Osmosis is a high efficient technique for concentrating/ separating dissolved substances from liquids. The permeate contains a very low concentration of dissolved solids. C-FILT Continuous Filter C-Filt is a continuously backwashed gravity sand filter, which saves space and operation cost. Three of these technologies i.e. C-TECH, C-MEM and C-RO can also be offered in containers.
