	FiberSort™ System The FiberSort® system performs removal of OCC and Trash from ONP Streams. This latest innovation for MRF’s provides for precise and fully automated separation of Old Corrugated Containers (OCC) and nonpaper items (trash) from a stream of pre-processed Old Newspapers (ONP). A pre-processed ONP stream is randomly fed in a single-layer manner onto a high-speed acceleration conveyor. The FiberSort™ analyzes all passing items and classifies ONP, nonpaper items (trash) and OCC according to their specific color and NIR “signatures”. Contains the following heavy-duty components: Separate Control Enclosure. Compressed air manifold. Sensor housing with a full color and NIR sensor and illumination assembly. Self-Cleaning air ejection and solenoid valve array. Typical removal efficiency is greater than 80%. High sorting accuracy with upward firing air ejection. High capacity design for easy integration into high volume mechanical screen sorting systems . Easy “over the belt” installation. AST proprietary sensor and system design. RS-232 communication port for easy parameter access and software uploads.
	Glass ColorSort® The Glass ColorSort® system turns negative value, contaminated, three-color mix into high value, furnace-ready cullet. Capacity is 20 tons/hr when operated in ceramic mode, 5 tons/hr when operated in color sorting mode. Automatically identifies and sorts glass particle sizes from 9-50 mm (3/8”-2”). Sorts all shades of green, amber, yellow, and blue colored glass including “Georgia Green” and “Half-White”. Employs the latest developments in sensor technology, using high-speed optical detectors and digital signal processing. Special software algorithms constantly correct for the effects of contamination, providing improved separation over self-cleaning systems which operate intermittently and require air and water utilities
	Multiple Metal Detector for MRF's Our new Eddy-Current Separator for MRFs sorts aluminum cans and other metal contamination from mixed material streams. A central computer system monitors up to 16 metal detector in one plant! Greater than 95% removal efficiency. Upward firing air ejection (see picture). Available in machine widths up to 128” in 8” increments. Easy to retrofit into existing plants. Modem/network access to touchscreen interface for factory software upload and trouble-shooting. Requires little space and can be easily integrated into existing processing system. Very low maintenance cost due to few moving components (air valves). 	Paper MultiWave™ Sensor The MultiWave™ Sensor provides proprietary full spectrum color and near infrared spectroscopy at scanning speeds that are more than double comparied to other NIR sensors. The MultiWave™ is the world's first sensor to provide gloss and lignin identification. The MultiWave™ provides MRFs as well as paper and plastics processors with a solution for automated optical separation at levels not possible before. Besides increased speed, the MultiWave™ can be installed into machine widths of up to 96" (2400 mm). This allows the MultiWave™ to process higher throughput rates than other sorting modules on the market. The integrated auto-calibration feature insures consistently high sorting accuracy and consistency.
	PaperSort™ System The PaperSort™ provides accurate separation of premium paper grades from mixed office paper. MSS has combined commonly used screens, conveyors and other innovative mechanical techniques with the world’s first high-speed optical sensor for automatic identification and recovery of premium paper grades from mixed office paper or removal of contaminants/prohibitives from premium paper grades. The PaperSort™ is currently being showcased at two commercial paper processing facility in the United States. The single line RP-1200 prototype system is operated on a continuous basis.
	The Aladdin System - Plastic Bottle Sorting The MSS Aladdin™ is the world’s first automated sorting module that is able to sort plastic resins and colors in one machine and to create three output streams from one input.
