GLV is a leading global provider of technological solutions used in water treatment and pulp and paper production.
- The Water Treatment Group (also known worldwide as “Eimco Water Technologies”) specializes in the design and international marketing of solutions for the treatment and recycling of municipal and industrial wastewater, as well as water used in various industrial processes. It also offers water intake screening solutions for power stations and desalination plants. With its extensive technological portfolio, the group is positioned to provide comprehensive solutions for the filtration, clarification, treatment and purification of water that will either be returned into the environment, or be re-used in various industrial processes or for domestic purposes.
- The Pulp and Paper Group specializes in the design and global marketing of equipment and systems used in various stages of pulp and paper production, notably chemical pulping, pulp preparation and sheet formation and finishing. This group ranks among the foremost players in its industry and is a recognized leader in rebuilding, upgrading and optimization services for existing equipment, as well as the sale of spare parts.
In addition, a Manufacturing unit specializes in the production of large custom-made parts for the Pulp and Paper Group as well as external customers involved mainly in the pulp and paper and energy sectors. Apart from this unit, GLV outsources most of the manufacturing of its proprietary products to an international network of subcontractors in order to focus primarily on product engineering and sales operations.
Through its various groups, GLV holds intellectual property rights to a large number of recognized technologies and trademarks. The installed equipment base related to GLV’s technologies and trademarks are among the largest in the world. This advantage allows the Company to develop a significant aftermarket business: a value-added activity generating recurring revenues. As GLV’s products are primarily manufactured by an international network of subcontractor partners, it provides the Company with a competitive cost structure that can easily be adapted to market fluctuations.
GLV is present in some 30 countries and has close to 1,700 employees.
Brackett Green Bar Screens Brackett Green manufactures a wide range of Bar Screens for intake protection with aperture sizes ranging from 12mm to 200mm. Bar screens can function as a single stage screen or provide the first stage of a multi-stage screening process. Bars Screens can be either removable or fixed; - removable Bar Screens can be designed to be located Stopgate guides (once the Stopgate has been removed) or located in purpose designed slots in the civil works and are sometimes lifted for manual cleaning. When automated operation is required or if manual cleaning is impractical then EWT can supply a comprehensive range of Raking Screens
Delta-Stak® Clarifiers The Delta-Stak® Clarifiers combine the simplicity of gravity settling with inclined plate sedimentation principles. The patented design reduces space requirements and costs while providing operational simplicity and high over-flow rates. Distribution, deaeration, flocculation, defoaming, clarification, and thickening are simultaneously performed in a single vessel. Benefits Effective, low cost clarification Low installed cost Minimal space required No moving parts High clarification efficiency Operational simplicity Short detention time Clarification and thickening Corrosion resistant Wide range of applications
EWT™ Mixers & Flocculators Eimco Water Technologies manufactures a wide range of mechanical mixers and flocculators designed to enhance the performance of coagulants used in water treatment facilities. This equipment falls into two categories: High-energy mixers designed for rapid efficient dispersion of treatment chemicals and coagulants, or for suspension of powdered activated carbon. Flocculating devices intended to provide gentle, low-shear particle contacting to promote floc development and subsequent settling. All Eimco Water Technologies mixers and flocculators are designed to provide a specified level of mixing energy in a simple, reliable mechanical package. Only high service factory components are used and all speed reducers are rated by the American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA). Oil bath lubrication is standard as are cast iron enclosures. Controls and support bridges are available with all our mixers and flocculators. The patented Flocsillator® provides an oscillating motion device with all bearings and drives completely above the water line. Features and Benefits Steel or Stainless Steel Construction Non-metallic paddles available Water-Lubricated Bearings Available A Variety of Drive Configurations are Available
EWT™ Surface Aerators EWT™ low-speed surface aerators provide economical mixing and aeration in a wide range of wastewater treatment applications, including: Conventional & complete-mix activated sludge Contact stabilization Extended aeration EWT™ aerator design and construction reflects over forty years of research, testing and experience in oxygen transfer mechanics and the hydraulics of aeration basins. EWT™ aerators deliver a cost-effective combination of optimum transfer and mixing efficiency, mechanical reliability, operating flexibility and low installed cost. Features Excellent 02 transfer and mixing efficiency Power turndown without loss of mixing Plug flow channel velocity > 1 ft/second Approved for Carrousel® aeration service

| Reactor-Clarifiers™ Solids-Contact Flash Mix, Flocculation, and Sedimentation Combined in a Single Tank Solids-Contact Reactor-Clarifier™ units are designed and built to provide the most economical solution to precipitation and clarification requirements. The basic machine design provides for flash mix, coagulation, flocculation, solids recirculation, clarification, and positive sludge removal in a single basin - eliminating the need for multiple tanks and associated piping and pumping. All units are backed by over 50 years experience in engineering and manufacturing assuring the best fit to unique plant requirements. Reactor-Clarifier™ units are used for softening, turbidity removal, and taste and odor removal applications. Reactor-Clarifier™ units combine a large diameter, slow speed concentric turbine generating high volume internal recirculation to promote mixing, flocculation and solids-contact. The recirculation system is designed to promote particle growth and improve the removal of suspended solids. Raw influent immediately contacts a large volume of dense floc from previously precipitated solids in the recirculation drum and is pumped upward by the turbine. Depending on the application, a volume of 8 to 20 times the maximum influent rate is recirculated by the turbine to mix with new incoming feed, while the final effluent passes under the reaction cone to the clarification zone. Heaviest particles settle to the floor where they are raked to the center for recirculation or discharge. Types of Reactor-Clarifier™ Units HRB - For mechanisms up to 120 feet in diameter, this mechanism is supported by a bridge which spans the tank. HRC - For mechanisms from 50 to 200 feet diameter and larger, the HRC units are supported by a stationary center column, mounted to the tank bottom RCM - Alternate design using a propeller mixer for liquid recirculation. Available in both bridge-mounted and center-supported units | |
