Success in markets orientated towards the latest technologies much depends on a high level of expertise and efficiency. In consideration of a tight international competition and the globalisation of markets requiring - in the market of environmental technology and related products as in many others - an optimal strategy both in mind and action, partnership is a key factor to success.
We rely on the combined experience and knowledge of two long-standing enterprises, merged into one, to develop and design perfect solutions and innovative technologies.
Water and Sludge Technologies Division
Our long-standing experience and ample knowledge in the field of water conditioning and wastewater clarification make us a highly qualified partner for the construction and commissioning of such plants and installations as:
Municipal clarification, industrial wastewater clarification, drinking and process water treatment, organic household refuse treatment, hydropower, and cooling water treatment.
We serve our customers not only with intelligent components or electronic and mechanical system solutions, but also with turnkey plants, a customised approach to each problem resulting in solutions orientated towards the future and, last but not least, with a perfect service.
Being a group of companies operating on an international scale, we are your experienced partner for each and every task, wherever and whenever it arises, to be approached in the wide field of environmental technology.
Flocculation Agent Preparation - Roedos In order to mechanically condition sludge, poly-electrolytes are added to the sludge. The Roedos is a compact plant for the preparation and dosage of these poly-electrolytes. Advantages of the Roedos: Universal use. Suitable for all poly-electrolytes, whether solid or liquid Stock solution can be used for longer time Can be exactly dosed, even during power outages Requires little space High-quality material (stainless steel) Completely automated Optimally economical Capacity 600-9000 l/h After the addition of poly-electrolytes to the sludge, the Roefilt or Roebelt is used to thicken, or the Roepress, Duodrain, chamber filter press or centrifuge are used to dewater the sludge.
Mechanical Treatment In the first step of the process, the delivered waste is treated mechanically: At this stage, – depending on the process concept – the following process steps are used: Crushing Sorting Mixing Homogenization Transport Mechanical treatment fulfills the following goals: Removal of existing valuable materials: iron metals, plastics, for example Separation of problematic materials which could block operation Removal of harmful substances Separation of non-biodegradable fractions for material or thermal use Optimal conditioning of organically rich fractions for subsequent biological treatment
Municipal Wastewater Treatment Due to our many years of experience in the field of municipal waste water treatment, we can offer you tailor-made solutions to your problems – all from under one roof. From consulting, designing and supplying to installing and commissioning, we have the competence it takes to be your partner. As a certified engineering firm, Passavant-Roediger Anlagenbau develops unique process concepts for your plants from the inlet to the outlet. For every step of the process, be it the mechanical, biological or clarification stage, we offer price-worthy solutions tailored to meet your needs. As partners and licensers of tried and tested innovative technologies and in collaboration with manufacturers of leading brand products, we can create waste water treatment concepts for you using the latest developments in technology.
Process Water Production Process Water Production Process water can be produced from the natural water resources subjected to mechanical clarification in combination with physico-chemical pre-treatment processes, or from advanced wastewater purification processes. Furthermore , we offer the whole range of additional treatment stages that may be required to produce process water in a quality requested and defined by the Customer. Physico-chemical raw water treatment Softening/decarbonisation Partial desalination and demineralisation Membrane process Advanced wastewater clarification processes
Sludge The modern waste water treatment plants of today have significantly lower amounts of solids in the effluent. Early on, Passavant-Roediger recognized that these solids must be properly treated and disposed of. For this purpose, we can offer you mature plants and processes.
Sludge Digestion n digestion tanks, sludge is anaerobically stabilized, meaning that its organic mass is converted into methane gas and water. Advantages of digestion: Sludge is stabilized (made odor-free) Methane gas is produced and can be reused Volume of activated sludge tanks is reduced by approx. 60 % Electrical energy is generated Electric energy for aeration system is reduced by approx. 30 % at an energy production of 80 % of the theoretical available energy of the biogas Improved dewatering of sludge Pasteurization occurs possible when digestion is operated under thermophilic conditions Valuable fertilizer produced for agriculture and forestry Co-digestion using anaerobic materials e.g. waste Variants of sludge digestion: Single and multi-staged process Mesophilic or thermophilic process Aerobic-thermal pre-stage (ATAD process) Pre-acidification prior to digestion Desintegration prior to digestion enhances process performance
Sludge Drying Sludge is dried in order to reduce the sludge mass to approx. 10 % of its original amount. The Roediger sludge drying process can be ordered with direct or indirect drum dryer units. Evaporative capacity begins at approx. 400 kg/h. From cost factor to trading goods (Advantages of Passavant-Roediger sludge drying). Round, granular structure Pasteurized Rich in nutrients Ideal for use in agriculture and forestry High heating value compared to brown coal, thus good replacement for fuel High shear resistance Thermal sludge drying carried out with the Passavant-Roediger process is an important prerequisite for the safe disposal of sludge. It is a step into the future!
| Softening-Decarbonisation Among our range of products and services, there is a special type of complete decarbonisation – the so-called advanced slow decarbonisation This process enables the removal of the carbonate hardness which frequently results in the formation of scale in hot-water recirculation systems and which is also used as the first stage in the desalination process. | |
