All of Weise Water Systems' current production takes place in Germany in its new and modern production facilities. This production is done in an innovative manner, partially carried out with our own proprietary fabrication processes. It has been a long journey from the first manufactured filter modules in 1997 to our present-day operations. One of the milestones in our history was the founding of Weise Water Systems GmbH in 2001 by the limited partner, Dipl.-Ing. Ulrich Weise, and two private investors.
Development work for the MicroClear filter, since patented for the entire European region, was initiated prior to the founding of Weise Water Systems under the auspices of Ingenieurbüro Weise [Weise engineering]. In cooperation with the Giessen-Friedberg Polytechnic University, various dissertation projects have been carried out since 1999 in conjunction with the development of this filter. The objective of these projects was to test the MicroClear filter in diverse applications and optimise it for operational conditions. In parallel to these projects, thanks to financial support provided by the Investitionsbank Hessen [State of Hessen Investment Bank] within the framework of a environmental technology program, it became possible to accelerate advanced development of the filter. Use of the MicroClear filter in membrane reactors was the emphasis of an AIF sponsored project by the University of Giessen-Friedberg that began in December of 2002.
Today we deliver an innovative product that produces ecologically germ-free, clean water which has since found its way into many fields of application. We are now able to offer a flexible system package that is configured to the customer's individual performance requirements. Are you an OEM only interested in obtaining filters and our support for your design of peripherals? Or are you in the market for a completely operational-ready solution that includes machines and electrical equipment? Regardless of your individual requirements, we are the competent partner.
Further research projects in cooperation with partners from industry and science serve to enhance this membrane technology for new fields of application
| MicroClear XL filters The new MicroClear XL has 7 m² of membrane surface and exactly replaces 2 MC03 filters. The MA03 frames (except MA03-1 and MA03-2) can be equipped with one MCXL for every two MC03. Important for you: The MCXL is offered for an even more attractive price. On top of that the MCXL offers a number of innovations, that are unique in the world of submerged ultrafiltration. |
| MicroClear® filters Simple configuration and installation make the MicroClear system a convincing approach no later than when it is deployed in a specific project. On request, even complete ultra-filtration stages, including peripheral equipment, can be installed. The MicroClear system is literally an award winning system that is flexible enough to be readily configured to any appropriate purpose. This applies to private and public wastewater treatment plants, water supply improvements for industrial purposes and also for producing drinking water from rainwater or river water in disaster areas. |
| MicroClear® frames A particularly economical solution; the MA03 frame system. This allows the MicroClear filter to be directly introduced into any tank. All MicroClear frames are delivered complete with the ventilation mechanisms (poppet or pipe air-release valve) required to optimally clean the MicroClear filter. Fine-bubble aeration of the filter simultaneously ensures optimal oxygen transfer in biological treatment. |
| MicroClear® systems MicroClear systems are complete systems for ultra-filtration on a scale sufficient to supply 50 to 10,000 persons (residency equivalents). We deliver connection-ready units that are precisely tailored to the customer's requirements. Our offer is directed exclusively at manufacturer (OEM´s), which we support with our extensive experience in the field of submerged membrane filtration. | |
