Competence in Process Solutions.
For more than 80 years Sterling Fluid Systems have been world leaders in the pumping of liquids and gases using liquid, vacuum and compressor pumps and systems of the highest quality. We design and manufacture liquid pumps, vacuum pumps, compressors and engineered systems for many applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical, power, water/waste water, food/beverage, plastic, steel, paper and machinery manufacturing industries. Sterling Fluid Systems provides the highest level of commitment to it’s customers through the care and support offered for all it’s pumps and systems operating within industry. Our service fully supports the customer during the lifetime of the application.
| Dry Running Vacuum Pumps for Industrial Applications The vacuum system SIHIdry V-Version has been especially developed for use in industrial applications. It is based upon a dry running twin screw principle, which is without any lubricants, sealants or operating liquids. Wide clearances in the pumping chamber make the pump robust when it comes to the handling of particles and liquids. It is supported by top-down pumping (inlet at the top and the outlet at the lowest point in the pumping chamber) and the pump chamber has been designed to eliminate dead space.
Applications:
The vacuum system SIHIdry V-Version has been developed for the use in areas without explosion hazard. These vacuum systems are used for example in sterilisation processes, for freeze-drying, for gas removal, in crystal pulling systems, for metallurgy furnaces, for product transfer, for central vacuum generation and many more.
Technical Data:
Suction capacity: up to 400 mÂł/h
Final pressure: < 0.001 mbar

| Liquid ring compressors of the series LOH stage displacement compressors of simple and robust construction. They have the following important features like handling of nearly all gases and vapours, non-polluting due to nearly isothermal compression, oil-free (no lubrication in the working chamber), additional liquid can be handled with the gas flow, easy in maintenance and reliable operation, low noise and nearly free of vibrations, wide choice of material (applicable nearly everywhere) and no metallic contact of t he rotating parts.
Applications:
Handling and compressing of dry and humid gases. Entrained liquid can be handled during normal duty. The compressors are applied in all fields where a compression over pressure of up to 1 bar has to be created by robust compressors and only a small increase in temperature is admissible during compression. Fields of application are the plastics industry (recovery of process gases as vinyl chloride), the petrochemical industry (compression of combustible gases as gasoline vapours or hydrogen), the transport of gases in general and many more.
Technical Data:
Suction volume flow: up to 51 mÂł/h
Compression pressure: 0.2 up to 1 bar g
Shaft seal: mechanical seal
Materials: grey cast iron, stainless steel

| Liquid ring compressors of the series LPHX-LPH Liquid ring compressors of the series LPHX/LPH are single-stage displacement compressors of simple and robust construction. They have the following important features like handling of nearly all gases and vapours, non-polluting due to nearly isothermal compression, oil-free (as no lubrication in the working chamber), additional liquid can be handled with the gas flow, easy in maintenance and reliable operation, low noise and nearly free of vibrations, wide choice of material (applicable nearly everywhere) and no metallic contact of the rotating parts.
Applications:
Handling and compressing of dry and humid gases. Entrained liquid can be handled during normal duty. The compressors are applied in all fields where a compression over pressure of up to 1.5 bar has to be created by robust compressors and only a small increase in temperature is admissible during compression. Fields of application are the plastics industry (recovery of process gases as vinyl chloride), the petrochemical industry (compression of combustible gases as gasoline vapours or hydrogen), the transport of gases in general and many more.
Technical Data:
Suction volume flow: up to 1,850 mÂł/h
Compression pressure: 0.2 up to 1.5 bar g
Shaft seal: gland packing, mechanical seal
Materials: grey cast iron, stainless steel

| Sludge Mixers Vertical single-stage and two-stage MFS mixers with special screw-type impellers and a deflector disk mounted on the shaft. The draft tube acts either as a suction pipe or as a discharge pipe. The shaft is supported in a combined thrust and guide bearing located in the seating ring. The mixer is driven by an motor or an intermediate gear whose pedestal is mounted on the foundation. The draft tube length can be changed to suit the application. Assembly is made easy by the flanged pipe section design. Applications: The mixers are designed to circulate in egg-shaped, conical cylindrical or cylindrical digesters causing an optimum mixing in both directions and a uniform heating of the sludge. The mixers designed for continuous reversible operation. The ability to circulate sludge in either direction for long periods of time fulfils important process requirements. | |
