Jenway was formed in June 1973, specifically to manufacture electronic thermometers and probes. During the 1980’s the Company diversified its activities to encompass a wide range of analytical products. Particular strengths are in electrochemistry and optical spectroscopy. Subsequent developments in this field have included colorimetry, nephelometry, UV and Visible spectroscopy and fluorimetry. Applications for the products are diverse and include areas such as food manufacturing, medical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, water related and educational markets. All of the Jenway products have a role to play in environmental monitoring and the increasing international awareness of environmental pollution has opened up important new areas of activity. Jenway has recently been acquired by the Barloworld Group and has been incorporated into the Barloworld Scientific division. Jenway now stands alongside brands such as Sterilin, Stuart, Carbolite and Techne. Our current focus is on developing and extending our core product ranges by carefully reviewing the detailed requirements for key applications and user groups to ensure our products meet the most stringent demands. Measuring Up to your requirements. Jenway is a leading U.K company designing and manufacturing high quality scientific instrumentation. Our extensive product range includes: UV/Vis Spectrophotometers Life Science and Environmental Spectrophotometers Flame Photometers Colorimeters Portable and Laboratory meters for the measurement of Dissolved Oxygen, pH, Conductivity and Specific Ions
| 9200 Dissolved Oxygen Meter IP67 The Model 9200 Dissolved Oxygen Meter is designed and constructed to resist the harshest of field, laboratory and industrial environments. The whole system is waterproof to IP67, and if dropped into water will float. These products are ideal for on-site water quality measurement in a multitude of customer applications. The 9200 utilises a Clark type polarographic membrane electrode optimised for both speed fo response and ... |

| Flame Photometer Low temperature, single channel for Industrial & Clinical analysis
Sodium & Potassium with Li, Ba & Ca options
Electronic ignition
Flame failure safety system
Fine & coarse sensitivity controls
Operates on propane, butane, natural gas or L.P.G. supplies
click to enlarge The Models PFP7 and PFP7/C are low temperature, single channel flame photometers designed for the routine determinations of Na & K (Ca, Ba and Li optional). With in-built automatic flame failure detection for user safety these products are ideal for use in clinical, industrial and educational applications.
The Model PFP7/C is specifically designed for use in clinical applications. The in-built lineariser circuitry enables readings of both Na and K at the normal clinical serum concentrations to be displayed directly in mmol/l. Serum samples must be diluted 200:1 or 100:1 prior to presentation to the flame photometer. The Series 7 diluter is available to enable this to be carried out efficiently and accurately.
