The not inconsiderable proportion of our project-related special solutions is clear evidence of this. Computerised stock control enables us to optimise stock levels whilst still guaranteeing short delivery times. 4. Responsibility for quality Responsibility cannot be delegated. Whoever undertakes the operation is responsible for the quality of workmanship. Job description, on-the-job training, seminars and technical instructions concerning the area of responsibility as well as other departments enable each employee to accept personal responsibility. 5. Responsibility for continuing improvement Each employee is responsible for improvement in his area. This is the only way that lasting improvement can be achieved. 6. Employee orientation Successful organisations need employees with basic, technical training, the capability for further self-development and the desire to continue learning. It is important to us that each employee works in a position best suited to his education and expertise. It is a management principle that this is mutually monitored. We set targets for ourselves and our employees and then work for their achievement. 7. Supplier relations Working together over time must lead to success, when fairness and a spirit of partnership prevail. Good suppliers earn the trust of their customers. We expect a high measure of quality, reliability, innovation and flexibility. 8. Environmental protection Direct and indirect materials are resources, which the company makes available to employees for the performance of their work. We expect our employees to husband these resources with care and, thereby, heed economic and ecological principles. So far as it is possible, we will recycle process residues and take care that our business does not cause any significant environmental damage. 9. | CuraflamÂŽ fire protection systems Doyma offers a fire protection system for interior finishing of pipes and cables; it complies with the current fire resistance standards R90 and R120 for pipes as well as S90 for cables. It provides all critical service ducts with effective, preventative fire protection.
All Doyma fire protection products can be found in the recommendation catalogue, "Construction Materials and construction Components" of the Association of Indemnity Insurers (VdS).
Range
Doyma Fire Protection Packing
The asbestos-free Doyma fire protection packing of pipes for interior finishing and for service ducts comprises laminated strips connected in bandage form. It is supplied ready to install, suitable for the service type and dimensions for which it is required. On site, it simply has to be fitted around the service, secured and then pushed inside the service sleeve/duct.
In the event of fire, the intumescent laminate starts to expand from approximately 150° C and has a swelling pressure of up to 10 bars. With a volume increase of about 7:1 the service duct is shut off completely, so that smoke and fire cannot penetrate into the adjacent building compartment.
The performance of the Doyma fire protection packing is neither impaired by ageing nor by contamination incurred during the installation process. Whether affected by damp, oxidation, light or frost, or whether weak or concentrated acids or alkalis, paint spray or builders' plaster or cement, the Doyma fire protection is 100% guaranteed.
CuraflamÂŽ Collar XS
The CuraflamŽ Collar is simply fitted around the pipe to be protected and fastened in position. The fixing tags can be screw fixed or simply bent and cast in. At a temperature of approximately 140° C, the intumescent material develops an expansion pressure of
up to 15 bars and so securely closes off a multiplicity of pipe lines.
CuraflamÂŽ Inject BS plus
CuraflamÂŽ Inject BS plus is cartridge applied and, in the event of fire, closes the annular void through which the service passes, in accordance with MLAR 3/2000.
CuraflamÂŽ Tape MP
The fire protection material for CuraflamŽ Tape MP is a tough, elastic intumescent material which, in the event of fire, starts to expand from a temperature of 140° C; its high expansion pressure ensures a complete closure of composite pipes. It is supplied in the appropriate lengths to suite the service sizes.
CuraflamÂŽ S 90-ST
The fire protection system CuraflamÂŽ S 90 ST comprises an elastic intumescent material which, in the event of fire, creates a heat-insulating foam which prevents the spread of fire and smoke to adjoining fire compartments.

| CuraflexÂŽ combination types Practical experience on site has shown that only by installing Doyma service ducts, comprising sleeves and gasket inserts, secure and lasting watertight penetrations for pipes and cables through walls, ceilings and floors are guaranteed. |
| CuraflexÂŽ gasket inserts Doyma develops and produces gasket inserts for sealing penetrations through walls, ceilings and floors for the widest variety of situations.
The spectrum of applications for gasket inserts encompasses structural and civil engineering, especially water lines, heating and district heating. Other applications include, for example, service ducts in swimming pools, bund and tank installations, gas pipes and shelters. Further uses occur in manholes, sewage works and in constructions with or without tanking membranes and thick coating renders.
The CuraflexÂŽ gasket inserts fulfil the following construction engineering requirements
Sealing against pressing and non-pressing water.
Gasket inserts for sleeves as well as core bores.
Split versions for retrofit installations.
Angular deviations up to 8° accepted
Fire protection: With intumescent systems tested and approved to DIN 4102 of the Building Regulations, fire compartments can be penetrated with confidence.
Explosion protection.
Doyma gasket inserts are also gas tight in their function |
| CuraflexÂŽ sleeves CuraflexÂŽ sleeves, whether manufactured from special fibre cement or from steel, are an important element of the proven Doyma system for pipe and cable penetrations through buildings. The sleeves are manufactured, in accordance with the numerous constructional requirements, from special fibrous cement and/or steel for the commonly encountered conditions of pressing and non-pressing water and ground moisture. |
| CuralineÂŽ cable ducts Die CuralineÂŽ cable penetration systems BKD and KD are quick and straightforward gas and pressing watertight ducts for cables and cable ducts. All cable diameters are simpl y and flexibly sealed. Rounded edges of system components ensure cable insulation is not damaged when cables are pulled through. Curaline cable penetration systems comprise watertight sleeves and a variety of cable adaptors. Heat-shrink shrouds provide the pressure seal between the adaptor spigot and the cable.
Leakproof sleeve
Leakproof sleeves are installed single or double ended, either individually or alongside each other as a battery. By the innovative combination of an expanding seal system and a flanged sleeve, the system ensures a secure bond in the concrete. The KD systems are delivered to site in the correct length to suit the structure thickness.
Cable adaptor
The cable adaptors offer versatile solutions for sealing cables and cable ducts. The BKD cable adaptor, with its bayonet lock system, offers even quicker and easier installation. The KD system cable adaptor has a screw-thread slip ring and offers the same properties as the BKD system. Cable adaptors allow cables of various diameters to be ducted. Heat shrink shrouds are supplied as standard; shrouds using cold shrink technology are optionally available.
CuralineÂŽ KSS cable duct system
The KSS cable duct system offers a variety of application possibilities. As an example, the gas- and pressing watertight connection of two buildings using the KSS duct system is readily achievable.
The KSS system is a flexible, mechanically strong, load bearing plastic spiral duct. The duct is connected to the leakproof sleeve using either a bayonet or a screw-thread adaptor.
According to installation requirements, a variety of components is available for connecting the duct to the cable adaptor.
Curaline system materials
Both the BKD and KD systems are manufactured from PC (polycarbonate), ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) and PVC-U (polyvinyl chloride). In addition, the solid rubber gasket in EPDM (ethylene propylene dimonomer).
CuralineÂŽ Building earthing
Building earthing GE is supplied in both rigid and flexible versions for ducts and retrospective grounding.
