Vomm Impianti e Processi srl founded in 1969 with the aim to promote applied researches in advanced methods for transformation industry in food, chemical, pharmaceutical, zootechnical fields, and build plants for carrying out these processes at the best.
Thanks to its dynamic activity, VOMM entered the process engineering sector, by offering a new own solution: Vomm Turbo-Technology, a new way to transfer energy and carry out, if necessary, other processes in continuous by using an original reactor, named Turbo. Vomm organization is based on a technical-scientific staff, who builds machineries based only on its original Turbo-Technology, by starting from lab studies and by using pilot plants. Vomm studies and researches, have been immediately applied to many different sectors of the transformation industry, developing for any of them a specific know-how, which is a precious patrimony at customers' disposal.
The test room of Vomm is available to Clients interested in making tests with their own raw materials using the pilot facilities of a semi-industrial scale installed in our factiry.
| Geo-Compact 2 The most convenient solution for the treatment and valorization of the humid part of urban waste. The plant hygienizes in continuous the humid part of urban waste and stabilizes it, making it suitable for the agricultural field. The installation does not alter the environment: no emissions in the atmosphere, no pollution, limited dimensions, low energy consumptions. |
| Test room The VOMM test room is at disposal of clients interested in making tests with their own raw materials, using the semi-industrial pilot plant facilities installed at our factory. This is the best way to confirm the advantages offered by technology. |
| Turbo-technology of continuous drying Vomm's patented new drying technology has already been applied in various industrial sectors. It is based on the highly turbulent suspension of moist material in a flow of heated air. This suspension is created mechanically in a horizontal direction. The product to be dried, either a solution or a moist paste, is fed into feeder of the horizontal cylindrical module or chamber, where a turbo-agitator maintains the material centrifuged against the sides. The heating is carried out in a coaxial jacket around the cylindrical module, either by steam, super-heated oil or some other thermic fluid. The air used in the drying process is filtered and then heated in a heat exchanger before being injected simultaneously with the moist material to be dried in the turbo chamber. In this way the heating is done by conduction and convection: indirectly by conduction from the heated walls of the cylindrical module and directly by convection from the preheated air. As steam is liberated around the material to be dried, it forcibly removed by aspiration from the drying module. The separation of the dried particles takes place in a cyclone system by means of difference in specific gravity. In specific circumstances, however, the steam can be removed by aspiration through the center of the axis of the turbo-agitator and the dry material is discharged directly from the exit. The Vomm's Turbo-Dryer is thus the first continuous dryer that operates with the combined thermal effects of conduction plus convection with excellent technological results.
