Mono is a leading manufacturer of progressing cavity pumps, grinders, screens and packaged solutions for a wide variety of industrial applications.
During the continuing evolution of Mono, strategically located manufacturing and distribution centres have been set up to provide focal points of contact in key international markets. The Group companies are supported by a network of in excess of 700 authorised distributors located throughout the world.
Our commitment to quality is reflected in the achievement of ISO 9001 for the Audenshaw, Manchester, Houston and Australian offices and ISO 9002 for the New Zealand distribution centre.
Mono is a wholly owned subsidiary of National Oilwell Inc., Houston, Texas, who design, manufacture and sell the major mechanical components for land and offshore drilling rigs, as well as complete land drilling and well servicing rigs.
Mono Europe The Group Head Office and major manufacturing plant (5 hectares in total) is responsible for production of progressing cavity pumps, grinders, screens and oilfield products. The Group research and development resources are based in Manchester, together with the chemical and metallurgical laboratories.
Monoflo® USA Based in Houston, Texas, the Monoflo facility manufactures and distributes products to serve the oil, wastewater and general industrial markets throughout the Americas and Canada through an extensive distribution network.
Mono Australia Founded in 1955 and based on a 5 hectare site in Melbourne, Mono Australia manufacture progressing cavity pumps, wastewater products and a range of Agricultural products including Borehole and PV Solar Water Pumping Systems. Mono Australia is responsible for sales in this territory through a network of Mono branch offices supported by a large number of dealers and distributors.
Mono New Zealand Supplying the full range of Mono products, this distribution centre supplies customers throughout the North and South Islands of New Zealand. Complementary products, including alternative pump technologies are also available from this facility.
Mono China In order to respond to customer demands for a locally based service and support capability, Mono has become the first major European manufacturer of pumps and macerating equipment to open a customer support facility based in Shanghai, China. Based in a National Oilwell facility, the 6,000 sq ft complex covers local assembly, service activities and spares supply.

| Compact C Range The Compact C Range of progressing cavity pumps has been manufactured by Mono to offer you a pump designed to fit into compact spaces, whilst reliably performing to the maximum duty requirements of your application. Features include good suction lift capability of over 8 metres, positive displacement for process control and variable speed for accurate dosing. |
| Muncher The Muncher Family is a range of twin shaft, slow speed, high torque grinders that macerate solids within a flow. Each shaft is fitted with a series of interleaving cutters and spacers to give real 'positive displacement' solids grinding. Once solids become trapped in the slowly revolving cutter stacks, the differential speed of the cutter stacks pull apart fibrous material, crop and shear plastic into small pieces and crush friable or brittle material.
The Muncher has been successfully installed for over 40 years into the following applications:-
protection of pumps prone to blockage
high volume, fine grinding of sewage and sludges
efficient disintegration of extracted screenings, prior to treatment
bulk reduction, material reclamation and profit from waste
effective packaged pumping system, when combined with a Mono progressing cavity pump
|
| PC Pumps The progressing cavity pump principle is ideal for handling liquids that can be slurries, viscous, shear sensitive, 2 or 3 phase mixtures or when applications require, significant suction lift capabilities.
The principle inherent in the pump design is ideally suited for both low to high flow applications.
The heart of the Mono pump is the rotor and stator. As the single helix rotor revolves eccentrically within the double helix of the stator, a continuous cavity is formed and progresses towards the discharge end of the pump as the rotor rotates.
Mono manufacture a large number of different pump ranges totalling in excess of 120 pump models, with flows ranging from 10 l/h up to 420,000 l/h. Differential pressures up to 48 bar are easily handled and for special applications, higher pressure pump designs up to 72 bar can be offered. The design principle also allows for the development of multi-stage pumps that increase the pressure handling capabilities.
|
| Screens & Extractors Mono has been successfully manufacturing and installing screens since 1991 to provide effective and reliable screening for inlet works, storm overflows, pump stations and water abstraction intakes.
We offer an alternative to the traditional and older mesh, bar and drum screens. The self-cleaning L Series DiscreenÂŽ is ideal for heavy duty screening and, by combining a Discreen with a Muncher, you have the option of keeping all macerated and screened residue in the main flow, eliminating removal costs.
A complete extraction package is also available, comprising a Discreen/Muncher combination with screenings removal, compaction and dewatering.
The flow powered Stormscreen is a screen that requires no electrical installation or running costs. Designed as an economic solution for storm overflows at inlet and chamber applications, this new design of screen offers you low maintenance combined with efficient and effective screening

| Solar Pumps Mono Pumps (Australia) Pty Ltd was formed in 1959 and as the New Age of Solar Products takes over the world, Mono Pumps have made a commitment to support and continually develop our solar product range.
Thousands of satisfied end-users rely on Mono solar pumps to provide water in some of the most remote and inhospitable regions imaginable. Mono solar products have proven themselves in the Australian outback where fine dust, torrential rain, extremes of temperature and poor ground-water quality are common place, Mono solar pumps have gone the distance.
Solar Pumps
Mono Pumps (Australia) Pty Ltd has been supplying Solar Water Pumping Systems since 1985. There are four solar pump ranges; the Sun-Sub Range, the Sun-Ray Range and the Sun-Downer Range. Because every solar pump application is different and with such a wide range of products available, only Mono Pumps can provide you with the solar pump that is best for your application.
All Mono Solar Water Pumping Systems use the reliable helical rotor principle developed by Mono Pumps proven to be ideally suited to solar water pumping. A Mono Solar Water Pumping System saves you money and frees you to concentrate on maximising the productivity and profitability of your operation. All systems are pre-wired and assembled for easy installation and incorporate a controller to maximise water output.
Both Stationary and GPS Tracking arrays are available on all systems to suit installation needs or preference.

| Widethroat W Range The Widethroat W Range has been designed to handle highly viscous materials, such as sludges, slurries, thick non-flowing pastes and de-watered sludge cake with viscosities up to 1,000,000cP.
The standard design consists of an enlarged rectangular inlet with a screw conveyor to assist the product into the pumping element. Options are available to modify the inlet with either large diameter augers, integral bridge breakers or both.
The range is based on single, two, four, six and eight stage pumps that can develop pressures up to 48 bar and capacities up to 215mÂł/h.
