| Krauss-Maffei Crossflow Filter DCF Crossflow methods for separating substances with poor filtration properties are state of the art. In applications with solvents, wearing substances etc. the use of ceramic filter membranes is gaining popularity. With the classic crossflow filtration the feed flows over the filter membrane in such a way that no clogging layer can develop on the membranes.
KMPT has further developed the process of Dynamic Crossflow Filtration. In this process rotating ceramic or polymere discs generate a turbulent differential speed of the feed. This effectively prevents the development of clogging layers which obstruct the filtration. Energy savings of up to 80 % are the key benefits of this new method. The possibility of processing a higher concentration of the retentate to viscosities of 700 mPas opens up new fields of application. The user therefore benefits from technical solutions for his specific problems as well as a process which offers better economic efficiency.

| Krauss-Maffei Helix Dryer HD Versatile and flexible mixer dryer.
The HD series uses a central, top-driven helical mixer in a conical vessel for gentle
and efficient mixing operations or vacuum drying. A mobile design is available for
small product quantities up to 300 liters.
For larger volumes, up to 4000 liters, a stationary version is offered.
A special drying system is available with interchangeable components such as stationary
drive module, vacuum system, heating/cooling system, CIP skid and mobile components
for simultaneous unit operations to minimize product handling when drying multiple batches.
