Air humidification by high-pressure vaporisation

Drinking water is filtered in the filtration unit and softened to 0 dH (german hardness). Then a special, nearly maintenance-free high pressure pump compresses it to 60 bar and conveys it to the vaporisation units through a high-pressure hose grid. Patented spray nozzels, which are arranged in ring form at the top of the ventilation unit, vaporize the water under approx. 1.000 PSI high pressure and spray it into the surrounding air. This way millions of microscopic water particles of a size between 10 – 15 microns are formed and evaporated in the ambient air. In order to achieve the best possible humidity balance and to reduce temperature pockets that are quite common, the vaporisation units are supported by an integrated fan that is on permanently. On the one hand this creates an air cushion which speeds up the procedure of transporting the vapor into the ambient air, on the other hand the permanent air circulation helps to achieve an even distribution of the humidity. A humidity sensor mounted in the room will constantly check the relative humidity and passes the signal on to the Airtronik-4-control unit, which in turn controls the humidity output. By simply setting the humidity level on the control unit the user can determine the required degree of humidification.
