When Meinolf Driller opened up a florist’s in 1959 no-one would have dreamt that now, some 50 years on, one of the main lines of business of the company located in Arnsberg, Germany, is also road-building and civil engineering. Today the demolition of buildings and the recycling of the rubble feature in the services offered by the company which now has 40 employees. “Between the years 2001 and 2004 we regularly hired a RUBBLE MASTER and in 2004 we invested in an RM80, which is still working to our full satisfaction today,” explains Bernde Driller, responsible for purchasing, invoicing and site supervision at Meinolf Driller GmbH. “It was at the Bauma 2010 trade fair where we then decided to purchase a new RM80 GO! – a decision that was easy to take really because of our excellent experience with RUBBLE MASTER and the support offered by Oppermann & Fuss.” The rubble that comes from road building and engineering is processed on the company’s own recycling storage year in Arnsberg. The high-quality recycled materials produced this way are then used to make paths, as aggregate for fresh concrete in their own concrete mixing plant and as foundation material for factory buildings. Around 10,000 t of environmental resources are protected as a result every year. ________________________________________ Proprietor: RUBBLE MASTER HMH GmbH, Austria. Published: September 2010

From one-man show to market leader in mobile compact recycling
Founded in 1991 with the vision of creating perfectly compact recycling systems for a market in its infancy, HMH has developed into a strong international brand with high quality ideals: RUBBLE MASTER Compact Recyclers have become a synonym for mobile recycling with an ever growing number of enthusiastic regular customers.
What has changed are the general market conditions, the company's location and the scale of operations: from a one-man company to a thriving medium-sized enterprise, now with 100 dedicated employees. Today, as back then, the emphasis is on solution-driven thinking, technological foresight and a genuine interest in customer requirements - the basis for all RM developments.
The compact twin-deck final screen RUBBLE MASTER CS series screens are compact linear oscillation screens that can be transported like containers. They are flexible as far as feed material is concerned an sort crushed material such as building rubble and natural rock very efficiently. Power is supplied from the crusher generator - a huge advantage at more remote sites. The CS3600/2 twin deck screen is perfectly matched to the powerful RM70 and RM80 crushers. Its throughput capacity is optimised according to the angle of the screen, mesh gap and the type of material to be processed. Even at high throughputs the CS3600/2 impresses with its reliable grading ability and low maintenance requirement thanks to self-cleaning screen decks. The three conveyor belts achieve impressive discharge heights as well. The screened material belt is safely integrated into the framework and is folded away hydraulically prior to transport. The CS3600/2 can be transported to job sites using a truck equipped with a drag-on winch.
The mobile high-performance screen The TS3600 is the economic solution for producing high-quality defined grain sizes, regardless of whether it's round grain from walls or for refining building rubble that can be graded using a screen. The tracked double-deck screen can be operated as a standalone screen to separate excavated soil, sand and gravel, plus building rubble mixed with high levels of earth and fine grain material. Thanks to the hydraulically opening feed hopper with oversized grain grating, the TS3600 can also be fed direct from a mobile RM100. Three defined final grain sizes can be produced in a single pass in combination with the RM100 and OS100 power package equipped with oversized grain re-feeding system. The screen can be operated by one person alone and the system is available with a radio remote control. All maintenance jobs can be carried out quickly and easily, thanks to perfect accessibility. For transport purposes the belts are moved hydraulically into the transport position so the TS3600 with its unique, compact dimensions is ready straightaway for transportation from one job to the next.
The pre-screen for precision grading The VS60 is a compact standalone screen unit designed to sort and separate fine material from rubble, asphalt, concrete and excavated material etc. The container-mobile twin deck screen is also an ideal complement to the RM Compact Recycler RM60 (also compatible with RM70). The two screen decks deliver the most precise level of grading by pre-screening fine grained material and considerably reducing wear in the crusher. The discharge height can be adjusted by inserting 2 additional skids. Power can be supplied from the crusher generator - a huge advantage at more remote sites. Also available with side discharge belt, hopper extensions and container-mobile transport option.
The profitable high-performance crusher The RM100 sets standards defining a new class of mobile crushers. The robust crusher is a continuation of advanced RM technology and design - delivering a significant increase in feed material size and throughput. Dynamic automatic operation and optimized crusher hammer geometry ensure the highest possible continuous throughput and uniform final grain size. RM100 crushers are operated safely and cost efficiently by a single person – thanks to the radio control system for simultaneous remote operation of the crusher, crawler gear and Release System for removing blockages at the touch of a button. At just 28 tonnes the crawler-equipped RM100 is a typical RM Compact Recycler that is easy to transport. The system has been cost-optimised from the ground up and offers impressive service life, well below average wear costs , long maintenance intervals and optimum ease of operation. The machine is set up quickly thanks to quick-release connections and perfect accessibility. Magnetic separator, side conveyor belt and mobile oversize grain screen are also available as proven RUBBLE MASTER add-on modules.
The robust crusher for professional recyclers The RM80 fully meets the requirements of cost-conscious building contractors. The crusher is programmed to perform – with automatic conveying in line with crusher workload, material and feeding type. Its high continuous throughput is due to the compact crusher's excellent intake behaviour and optimum crusher kinematics. The RM80 is flexible regarding the material it processes. In recycling mode the magnetic separator reliably removes reinforcing steel from the crushed material. Only one person is required to operate and manoeuvre the RM80 using remote control. Even the unique release system to remove blockages works at the press of a button. The crusher with crawler gear is mobile even in tight spaces and in mountainous areas. The RM80 is extremely versatile and can be reconfigured from a primary to secondary crusher in just 20 minutes. RUBBLE MASTER ENVIRO technology ensures it can operate without disturbing local residents. Magnetic separator, side conveyor belt and mobile oversize grain screen are also available as proven RM add-on modules.
| The versatile problem solver for newcomers to recycling The RM60 is the most compact RM crusher and perfect for newcomers to recycling. This semi-mobile crusher can be transported using a truck with drag-on hook system (for example) and is ready for operation in just 10 minutes. With a transport weight of just 12 tonnes, the crusher produces up to 80 tonnes of cubic high-quality grain per hour from rubble, asphalt and concrete. The RM60 is easy to operate and all service work can be carried out from the ground. With high-performance components such as pre-screens and final screens, you can create a complete recycling centre. Construction companies can then offer their services to businesses and communities, creating clearly defined, cost-effective recycling systems. | |
