Filmac, established in 1989, is a company managed by long experience technicians and engineers. All of them come from dewatering machines manufacturing and/or sale. Machines projects are new, cost saving oriented, automation devices patented. Computer designing, applied since the company establishing, allows for high flexibility and fast response when new projects and their quotations are required. Produced machines range: from the small 400x400 (20 dm3) to big 1500x2000 (9000 dm3). Manual filterpresses, in the range 400 to 800, are supplied to low cost manpower markets. Automatic fpresses: the full range 400-1500 are sold to European industry market. As the new automatic fpress does not require operator assistance, it has found quickly its way in the most demanding markets. The application to large plants for sludge dewatering has proven particularly successful where a great amount of sludge is to be dewatered. A traditional automatic fpress requires operator attendance during cake discharge, hence the fpress is operated during one or two shifts per day only. Filmac fpress is operated 24 hr/day by many end users, who are currently saving manpower and have bought a smaller sized machine with the same daily capacity than that of a bigger, more expensive traditional fpress. Reference plants can be shown to potential customers everywhere in Europe, and in other countries in the World. Some filterpresses have been supplied by Filmac as part of a "package" plant (clarifier, flocculant station, fpress, pumping unit, tanks). Standard Filmac fpress is equipped with Rexroth hydraulic components, high quality fplates and fcloths, Siemens electricals and PLC.
