The experience and the expertise of Daurex has been gained over the years, since the establishment of the turnery Daunheimer in Kirchhellen in 1972.

The main work of the firm Daunheimer was to produce, in piece work, by means of metal working, spare parts for eccentric screw pumps.

Consequently, the firm Daunheimer specialized very early on in the manufacture of highly precise solid stators and rotors for eccentric screw pumps in all dimensions and material qualities.

As business increased and with the prospect of increasing sales, the company was renamed in 1978 as Daurex Pumpen GmbH, and at the same time it moved to new premises in Gladbeck.

In 1979, due to the growing demand and the thought of manufacturing our own pumps, we designed and further developed both of our "EB" and "EDS" range of pumps.

In 1982, due to the next expansion, the company moved to Schermbeck. As time passed, our product range increased to the present level. Spare parts for various products from other manufacturers became increasingly popular.

With increasing demand, our order book grew to such an extent that it became essential to build new manufacturing facilities in 1995.

Due to the new building, it was now possible for us to convert our former manufacturing facility into a warehouse in 1997.

By building a 1500 sq.m. storage facility, we are thus able to provide fast deliveries of spare parts for eccentric screw pumps from virtually all manufacturers.

At the same time, we have further expanded our sales network. We now have 4 agencies for Daurex Pumpen GmbH in Germany, with 6 sales representatives. Worldwide, we also have a number of trading partners, so that we are able to make short-term deliveries to any country.

In 2001, we developed our new range of well pumps, type DSM. Its architecture is based on an eccentric screw pump. Our basic idea, which we have now implemented successfully was for high efficiencies, high abrasion resistance as well as a sturdiness that also permits use under severe conditions.

And today we are again facing the next enlargement. We are now extending our premises by 1200 sq.m. so as to be able to satisfy the growing demand, without restrictions for our customers.

From being a small metal-working company, we have thus succeeded in becoming a medium-sized pump manufacturer with a quality management capable of compliance with the highest demands.
