DEUTZ Power Systems is one of the worldwide leading system suppliers of efficient and environmentally-friendly complete power generating systems. Our name is synonymous with the delivery of power, heat and cold, any time, reliably and without interruption.
The development of complete power generating systems and their manufacture calls for a great deal of passion and quality awareness. Quality is the sum of all values on which all our activities are based. DEUTZ Power Systems GmbH developed its strengths based on this philosophy. The main emphasis of our activities is on the development of innovative products, services and technologies relating to all aspects of decentralised power supply with internal combustion engines – tailored to the individual requirements of our customers.
The innovativeness and flexibility we have demonstrated in meeting customer requirements have made DEUTZ Power Systems a market leader in the field of engine-powered combined heat and power generation plants in Germany. DEUTZ Power Systems engines convert both natural gas as well as special gases into power, heat or cold. The higher efficiency compared to power systems without combined heat and power generation means for customers a lower power consumption and lower polluant emissions, making a considerable contribution towards CO2 reduction.
More than one hundred years’ experience in the development of internal combustion engines and our passion for quality and innovation has enabled us to offer our customers cutting-edge technology individually tailored to suit their specific requirements
| MWM greenhouse solutions – ensuring that profitability flourishes too. Systems for powering and heating greenhouses and fertilizing the plant with cleansed waste gas. MWM has been a leading global expert in decentralised energy production engines and systems for over 130 years. One of our particular specialities is the use of CO2 waste gases from block-type thermal power stations for fertilisation in greenhouses. Highly efficient MWM engines and systems convert flammable gases, including natural gas, sewage gas and special gases, into electrical and thermal energy that can be used, for example, to provide heating or lighting for the greenhouse. The CO2 produced during the combustion process is then processed and added to the air in the greenhouse, where the plants use it for photosynthesis in order to accelerate their growth. Our greenhouse technology benefits our customers by increasing plant growth by up to 40%. This is an investment that quickly pays for itself, because we are specialists in holistic greenhouse concepts that are driven by a single goal – ensuring the long-lasting financial success of our customers. MWM greenhouse technology is suitable for a wide range of applications. |
| MWM systems and engines for decentralised natural gas energy supplies are used for a wide range of applications Natural gas is an important market segment that MWM covers in the best way possible with its gas engine plants for various application areas. With a tradition stretching back more than 130 years, MWM stands for cutting-edge innovations in gas engine technology. Our invention of the world’s first stationary gas engine in 1881 was the first of many impressive technological milestones. Today, MWM remains one of the world’s leading suppliers for decentralised energy production using natural gas, with state-of-the-art technology that meets all of today’s extensive requirements. Natural gas is now one of the most important sources of energy. Demand is constantly increasing and supplies of fossil fuels are becoming ever more precious. This presents both an ecological and an economic challenge. Rising natural gas prices necessitate optimum efficiency in the process of converting energy for power, heating or refrigeration. MWM regards itself as an all-round partner that does more than just provide highly efficient systems and engines at affordable prices. We also provide expert consultation and customer service that enable us to develop integrated cogeneration concepts for our customers in order to tap the full value chain associated with decentralised natural gas utilisation. Our commitment to natural gas expertise provides our customers with lasting benefits. MWM systems and engines for decentralised natural gas energy supplies are used for a wide range of applications: • Industry • Hospitals • Swimming pools • Airports • Oil rigs |
