Expertise and Innovation in High-Technology Materials
For more than 70 years, the Brandenburger Group has been a worldwide leader in the market for high-tech composite materials. Our consistent focus on innovation, customer orientation, and a high level of technical expertise have made Brandenburger a globally recognised partner in the field of heat protection technology.
Since the early 1990s, the company has also been one of the leading providers of pipe liner technology for trenchless sewer rehabilitation.
The company was founded in 1939 by Kurt Brandenburger. It is based in Landau in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The company's founder was a pioneer in the field of plastics engineering and enjoyed an excellent reputation as an author of numerous expert papers. The independent, medium-sized company group is certified in accordance with DIN ISO 9001. It has a workforce of 120 employees.
Brandenburger Isoliertechnik
Products and innovations by Brandenburger Isoliertechnik can be found wherever heat protection, temperature resistance and compressive strength, energy efficiency and protection of machines and plants are crucial. Thermal insulation systems, friction bearings, and rotor blades are the core competencies in the field of insulation technology. Brandenburger develops and manufactures specialised high-precision insulation for use as ablation material in the aerospace industry. Brandenburger Isoliertechnik also offers consulting services on process optimisation and develops customer-specific solutions using a wide range of construction materials.
Brandenburger Kanalsanierung
Brandenburger has been researching technology for trenchless sewer rehabilitation since the early 1990s. Today the company is one of the leading manufacturers. The seamless, light-curing GFRP pipe liner was developed by Brandenburger based on many years of experience with glass-fibre reinforced plastics and has been patented worldwide. It is manufactured in-house. It is used to rehabilitate damaged sewers safely and durably in record time. Numerous partners all over the world are reaping success by making use of Brandenburger's modern UVA light-curing equipment, technical service and application technology.
Expertise and Innovation Through Own Research
Innovation has always been one of the secrets behind the success of the Brandenburger Group. The work of our own research and development department has resulted in the Brandenburger Group's ownership of numerous national and international patents. Through close collaboration with independent institutions, universities and prominent companies in the plastics industry, as well as through developments resulting from collaboration with customers, Brandenburger has been able to continuously advance its product range.
No-compromise quality, compliant with DIN EN ISO 9001
Brandenburger products safeguard the functionality of machines and systems, reduce energy consumption and protect the environment. Therefore Brandenburger assigns highest priority to maintaining a consistently high product quality. With this no-compromise attitude towards quality, Brandenburger has obtained a leading position in the market. The Brandenburger quality management system (QM system) was specially developed for this purpose. It was certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 as early as 1994.

| BLUETEC® light curing technology The new BLUETEC® curing technology excels with even faster curing rates and a further improved serviceability. The advanced curing technology makes the installation of light-curing pipe liners even faster and more cost-effective. With its proprietary UVA light-curing system, Brandenburger set the market standard for quality control and quality assurance in pipe-liner curing in the 1990s. Core components of this system have now been improved, while retaining the comprehensive quality control capabilities: Even more powerful UVA halide lamps, a new control system and advanced UVA light sources speed up the curing process. With the new BLUETEC® technology, the UVA lamps in the light sources may be operated individually at varying power levels from 400 to 1000 Watts, depending on the sewer profile. It is now possible to select the optimum curing rate for the specific rehabilitation project, taking into account the diameter and the wall thickness of the pipe liner as well as the sewer profile (round, oval, special). The BLUETEC® technology enables light-curing rates up to 180 metres per hour (with DN 150). The BLUETEC® curing is easy to operate and, in most cases, easy to repair on site. Expensive and elaborate control electronics have been replaced by simpler systems. This offers a number of key benefits for rehabilitation projects worldwide. |
| Brandenburger pipe liners Seamless design – monitored curing – high quality Brandenburger combines expertise in liner materials and UVA light technology under the same roof. Only the combination of these two components enables us to offer on-site high-quality curing. We offer qualified assistance to our partners to help them become experts at working with liner materials. |
| Handling Unique System - Quality Is Assured Through Easy Handling The ease of handling Brandenburger pipe lining at a site truly sets it apart from its competitors. Since it is so easy to transport and install the ready-made liner, many potential causes of error are eliminated right from the start. This has a significant effect on the quality of the final product that, after all, cannot be determined until the liner has been installed. Since there is no need to handle chemicals at the job site, there are no additional risks for residents and users. |
| UVA-Technology Innovative Procedures Ensures Quality The quality of an installed GRP inliner depends strongly on the applied curing technology. Knowing this, Brandenburger founded the UV Reline.tec subsidiary in 1997, an engineering company specializing in UV design. In recent years, UV Reline.tec designed a completely new UV vehicle that makes the curing process safer and more reliable. Since 2006, this technology is being offered in a particularly advanced product called BLUETEC® | |
