Next generation filter
Maxflow combines filtration without filter aids – or, if they are required, with considerably reduced quantities of filter aids – and briquetting in a single unit. Simplified disposal, because the waste product is optimally separated and vastly reduced in volume, low maintenance requirements and modular expansion options all qualify the Maxflow concept as a next generation filter. The main fields of application for Maxflow are particle filtration, the retrieval of recyclable materials and the purification of aqueous solutions. The system has already successfully proved its efficiency in a range of industries, metal-working, automotive, chemical, pharmaceutical and food-processing, as well as in the environmental sector.
Made-to-measure filter unit design
GKD-CompactFiltration develops tailor-made concepts in collaboration with its customers. As partners for truly integrated solutions, GKD's filter and equipment specialists are there for their customers at all stages, and not just from design and dimensioning through to commissioning of the equipment. Even later on, when the equipment needs to be expanded and adapted to meet changing production conditions, the team of GKD continue to provide worldwide competent service that is supported by the German sites in Tuttlingen and Düren. In spite of its modular features, the Maxflow system is not an isolated application. It meets all the requirements of established standards. At the same time, it can be adapted through individual modifications to fulfill the production parameters of the customer, no matter how specific these may be, and can be flexibly expanded even after implementation. Through comprehensive services that accompany the production process, GKD becomes an integral part of the customer's supply chain and can thus at all stages guarantee the efficiency of its filter concepts.

| GKD CreativeWEAVE Only a few years ago were metallic fabrics discovered as both decorative and functional design element in architecture and design. The project "Bibliothèque Nationale de France" in Paris was the starting point of their successful development. In the framework of this project, we, together with Dominique Perrault, for the first time developed different ways of application for metallic meshes. Since then, this successful development has been continued worldwide in an increasing number of areas of application. The experience we obtained through decades in the manufacture of technical meshes for separation & filtration as well as for the process belt technology is the basis of our innovative power and the quality of our products. The extraordinary aesthetics of the metal meshes gave the first impulse for their use in architecture and design. During the years, it became more and more obvious that not only the visual effects but also the functional and technical advantages of the mesh convince architects and planners. Meanwhile, we offer a wide range of mesh types specifically developed for various applications in architecture and design. The design families are adjusted to their specific demands. Inform yourselves about our product range: The sections "Applications"", "Building types" and "Product overview" provide you with substantial information as to areas of application, building and product types. The section headlined "Products/applications" summarises which mesh types are especially suitable for specific applications. The "Picture book" completes this overview by a great variety of photos. Use it as a means of inspiration. The section "Attachments" serves as an initial planning support as far as installation is concerned. Enjoy scrolling through the following pages - may you have lots of brilliant ideas. We would be pleased to give you any personal support and advice necessary to realise them. |

| SolideWEAVE - Wire Mesh - Filter Media As a supplier for many different industries and applications, GKD produces a wide variety of woven wire meshes. Our production program for SQUARE MESH ranges in aperture sizes from 0.025 mm to 14 mm. And in addition to our standard program, which is always readily available from stock, we also run lots of special productions for customer-specific applications. Requirements in the area of fine filtration are met by using MICRONIC MESHES with filter grades ranging from nom. 1 µm upwards. Also for that range of filtermedia, stock productions and customer specific productions are combined. PZ-Microdur and KPZ-Microdur cloths are the main focus in wire mesh production for applications in the field of precoat-filtration. Here, production is geared to maintaining large stocks of market standards in the materials AISI 316L and 904L (1.4404 and 1.4539) to ensure shortest response times for spare part requirements. And the PLAIN and TWILLED DUTCH WEAVES used in this field, as well as the corresponding support meshes, are also a part of our needs-oriented warehousing program. For other applications, TELA cloth (5-heddle atlas weave) and MULTIPLEX WEAVES are produced. Depending on the application, the production width is up to 3 m. For filtration of high viscous media, GKD produces Optimized Plain Dutch Weave filtermedia with filter grades ranging from 10 µm up to 80 µm. In many cases this is supplied from rolls or strips ready for final fabrication by filter manufacturers in final production steps. Our newest development in the woven wire mesh sector is the innovative filter composite YMAX®. This filament-wire connection made of stainless steel offers two advantages, high porosity with absolute homogeneous pore structure and high mechanical stability. Retention rates are ranging from 3 µm up to 100 µm. High mechanical strength coupled with flexibility does allow highly efficient surface and depth filtration with a single filter media. |
