| Room Air SanitizerRoom Air Sanitizer Method of Operation In STERILAIRE™ Room Air Sanitizers room air is drawn past washable electrostatic filters, then forced into an ultraviolet exposure chamber in which the air is subjected to powerful germicidal rays, past baffles and then reintroduced into the room. The STERILAIRE Room Air Sanitizer provides effective germicidal treatment without the hazards associated with exposed ultraviolet lamps. Application of equipment is simple and straightforward. Selection: In selecting your STERILAIRE Room Air Sanitizer several factors should be considered. STERILAIRE Room Air Sanitizers are selected to treat a given area based on the equipment room air changes per hour that the STERILAIRE Room Air Sanitizer is capable of treating. To tread areas that are normally or well ventilated, we recommend selection of a STERILAIRE Room Air Sanitizer that will yield a minimum of three (3) equivalent room air changes per hour. In areas that are poorly ventilated and areas that present a higher than usual risk of airborne infection (such as a crowded waiting room), installation of a STERILAIRE Room Air Sanitizer capable of six (6) equivalent room air changes per hour is recommended. To select the appropriate STERILAIRE Room Air Sanitizer(s), first determine the desired number of equivalent room air changes per hour. Then calculate the total cubic feet per hour required to yield the desired number of equivalent room air changes using the following formula: Room Size (cubic feet) x Room Air Changes = Cubic Feet per Hour Once the volume of the area to be treated is known, Tables 1 and 2 can be used to select the most suitable STERILAIRE Room Air Sanitizer for your application. |

| Water Purifier Ultraviolet/Germicidal water purification systems Ultraviolet/Germicidal water purification systems from Hanovia... ...provide a fast, unique way to disinfect water without heat or chemicals. Using short-wave radiation from Hanovia germicidal ultraviolet lamps, STERITRON purifiers destroy all water-borne microorganisms, including bacteria and viruses. Hanovia germicidal lamps are found in a variety of applications, including personnel protection and prevention and prevention of cross infection in hospitals, laboratories and veterinary facilities and product contamination prevention in the food processing, pharmaceutical, bottling, electronics and semiconductor industries. How the system operates: • Water enters purifier and flows into annular space between quartz sleeve and outside chamber wall. • Wiper segments induce turbulence in flowing liquid to ensure uniform exposure of suspended microorganisms to lethal ultraviolet rays. • Translucent sight port provides positive indication of germicidal lamp operation • Wiper assembly facilitates periodic cleaning of quartz sleeve without disassembly or interruption of purifier operation. • Water leaves purifier ready for use instantly. | |
