Micro AirÂŽ dust collectors are engineered from the ground up with innovative design, and features that provide what counts most in a dust collector: functionality. All are sized and rated for the proper air-to-cloth ratio to solve a wide variety of applications such as weld smoke, powder dust, grinding dust, paper dust, etc. Key to our models is a revolutionary new cleaning system called Roto-PulseT. This is an on line system that continually cleansthe filters with a revolving, compressed air driven, tube. As air enters the tube, the force of the pulse causes the tube to rotate. While spinning, air exits the pre-drilled holes in the tube. The result is that air hits the entire inside of the cartridge, pulsing dirt particles away from the filter for a much more efficient cleaning cycle. After-Pulse is Standard Micro Air provides an after-pulse cleaning cycle in addition to automatic on-line cleaning. This allows the unit to pulse the cartridges after power is shut off for an effective cleaning at the end of a shift. INDUSTRIAL AIR CLEANERS

Micro AirŽ offers a wide variety of air cleaners to control airborne particulate generated by industrial manufacturing processes. The industrial models offer three types of filtration. Media units utilize a series of filters to collect the particulate. These include pre-filters, media bag filters, HEPA filters, and charcoal modules. The unit can be configured with any combination of media to most effectively capture the specific particulate or fume. Cartridge units utilize self- cleaning, high efficient, cartridge filters. These reduce filter replacement cost as the filter elements are continually cleaned by compressed air as the unit is operational. All Micro AirŽ cartridge air cleaners utilize the revolutionary Roto-PulseT cleaning system. This cleaning method has proven far more effective at cleaning the filter that the traditional reverse-jet systems. Industrial electrostatic models use a series of collecting cells that are electronically charged. As the particulate passes through the ionizer section of the unit, the individual dirt particles receive an opposite charge that causes them to collect on the cell plates. PORTABLE COLLECTORS

Micro Air manufactures a complete line of portable collectors. from the M2150 media collector, for light duty or small volume applications to the MC1500 cartridge collector for heavy duty production.
