	An extensive range of high-performance granulators Every Rapid granulator is built to ensure that you get cost-effective granulation and high-quality regrind month after month, year after year. You have a wide choice of both beside-the-press and central granulators, which together can take care of virtually all types of plastic waste and granule throughput. We also supply Guillotine Systems for recycling edge trimmings, and shredders for pipes, lumps and more compact waste. A wide range of other optional accessories allows us to tailor our granulators to your exact needs
	Dedicated to large pipes and profiles The Rapid Shredder/Granulator solution is dedicated to recycling large pipes and profiles. Heavy-duty pipes up to 6 metres long and with diameters up to 1400 mm can be loaded irrespective of wall thickness. Energy savings are derived from using a 37 kW motor instead of a 160-200 k W motor used in multipurpose granulators. And a combination of low rotor speed and soundproofing minimizes operating noise. The machine footprint is just 8x4 m. Automatic feeding control enables granulation to run continuously at maximum capacity to give 6-8 mm regrind size.
	Preventing machine damage Rapid supplies an optional metal detector and a metal separator. The detector is mounted on the side of a conveyor or similar transport system that feeds plastic waste into a granulator. If metal is detected on the conveyor, then the granulator is automatically stopped to prevent component damage and a warning light or sound is switched on. A combined metal detector/separator is an accessory for Rapid TRACS, where it is located under the separation unit. When metal particles 0.5-1.0 mm in diameter are detected, they are automatically removed from falling regrind
	Quicker recycling of edge trimmings Before continuous lengths of edge trimmings from material thicker than film or sheets can be fed into a granulator they must be cut up into bits. This is exactly what the Rapid Guillotine System is designed for. The usual configuration is that two guillotines, one for each edge, are incorporated into a system that continuously cuts into small pieces edge trimmings coming directly from a sheet extrusion line. The guillotined pieces fall onto a band conveyor that transports them to a granulator.
	Tailor our systems to meet your needs A good choice of optional Rapid accessories is available to customize granulation systems. A shredder recycles large pipes and profiles. Rapid TRACS separates minute particles of dust from regrind and recirculates very clean air. The standard DS-400 dust separating system is used for less demanding applications. Recycling of edge trimmings from sheet extrusion lines is facilitated by the Rapid Guillotine System. And units that detect and/or separate small metallic objects contribute to high granule quality.
